4 Sydney clubs with a combined membership base north of 77k can’t pull 30k between them to a couple of Saturday arvo/evening games with dirt cheap tickets. OK it was a bit wet but there is plenty of cover at the stadium. As much as I’d love to see the ANZ rebuild go ahead this certainly doesn’t help the business case...

And all this talk about lack of promotion - as a member I get multiple emails from the club ahead of every Melbourne game, surely it’s not just the Storm doing this?

Big crowds are not generated via email lists. Attracting the neutrakl/ passive sports fan is the trick! Thats when you get big crowds!

Fully support the Titans taking games out to regional areas this game and the planned Gladstone game, slightly worrying that dragons jerseys are making up more of the crowd though.

That's what cultural and historical relevance along with notoriety get you! THEIR are multitudes of fans of Sydney based clubs throughout Australia. That's a fact!

yeah I know why they aren't at CBUS
but should have gone to Suncorp while the comm games is on in my opinion
they may have won the hearts of 5 locals today in Toowoomba
everyone else was there to see the Dragons

would have got twice the crowd at Suncorp & twice the $$
Hire costs might have been prohibitive.

Should probably relocate some of them then, if they can get bumper crowds outside of their home territory :joy:.

that's what trials are for
venues like this are only fit for trials not premiership matches

altho TBH
its a better venue then Brookvale LOL

Can't say I agree, even the maligned AFL took games this round to Canberra and Cairns. Brookvale certainly needs an update, the same can certainly said for that ashtray shaped eyesore the Raiders can't get a win at. :joy:

That line of thinking is absolutely suicidal for the code in the Sydney region! The code is good enough to attract new fans and demographics. Poor administrators use the "run away" logic. The game is not doing justice to itself . The relocation talk is a very poor outcome and undermines the competition in so.many ways.
