I find it remarkable that the NRL is not aired on any of the secondary channels of the Nine Network in "non Rugby league" states! It reeks of a poor regard for the code by the channel nine network. Furthermore I think the NRL should have insisted on this coverage to occur during negotiations. Even throw it in now as extra value to the current coverage set up?
Although I just read a query as to reasons why the NRL on channel 9 does not include other state ratings figures. Apparently channel 7 class their other channels as a network and channel 9 class the channels as separate channels. Seems odd?

I watched sharks vs st George on Gem when I was in Melbourne last week, isn’t that a secondary 9 Chanel?

Tigers are so pointless in this competition. 2/2 wins against 2 favorites, playing against the broncos on a clear Friday night and get 12k if that.

Yes. Looks like the different networks don't classify their secondary channels the same. Channel 9 class them as separate channels and channel 7 group the secondary channels within the network . Diabolical logic from channel 9 from my point view. No doubt their is some reasoning behind it?

doesn't matter how they're classified as long as they're counted

Regionals 353K for NRL vs 198K
Totals 862 vs 816 for NRL despite not being shown in half the country

A moral win for NRL!

So we got a smaller crowd and a smaller tv audience, but hey it’s a moral victory lol

can you please write the nrl annuals report, given its delay they seem to be having difficulty spinning the results to a moral victory!

$48 plus booking
$22 behind sticks GA

Thats expensive! We are talking outer western Sydney. A very working class and generally low socioeconomic demographic. $50 for a seat in that area is way too expensive. Needless to note that they are empty. Poor marketing/pricing policy . Seems familiar!?
