I mentioned Monday to counteract the Thursday argument. I seem to recall most believing Thursday would be more popular than Monday. Fri6pm is sht, but were stuck with it for 4 years thanks to Grant and co. How come you are forecast to lose $4mill AFTER a $3mill in the hand grant if 13k is break even? nHow come you lost $4.6mill last year with a 13k crowd avg?

Oh a perth comment lol. Back to the topic how do you see Sharks increasing your crowd avg over next couple of years?

How come you don't pay attention.I've spelt out time frames, delays,
Bonus paid to a former CEO,crowd average less than break even, money upon completion of final western residential stage, only now starting.
You don't get money either from an old Leagues club ,that will be refurbished.Nor do you receive retail rental until the retail section is actually operating.Woolworths I understand is one of the tenants.
Nor do you receive profits from an additional 220 units on the retail side until sold.

Well at last reports you are known as Perth Red ,and you are always bragging about Perth will do this and do that.So you got a response about Perth and crowds. After all you had a team there once. You reap what you sow.Your'e the one leading with your chin, wanting to turf Sydney clubs for a Perth side.

Pointless talking about next two years. The time should relate to the end of the current Tv deal 2022.

Do away with 6pm for a start, have Dragons play the Sharks on a Saturday night or Sunday afternoon, have a match against South Sydney scheduled for similar times, do not play interstate or out of Sydney team son a Friday night ,refurbished Leagues club ,and having about 3-4,000 people living within spitting distance.Oh and having a local A League team utilise the filed for a few games in the summer.
Then down the line with money behind them and recurring rental income, aim for infrastructure improvements at the ground.

The club has a block of land at Sutherland, which they plan for a Centre of Excellence. They will be approaching the Feds for a grant to complete it, which will be used also by other sports.

Be still f**ked in Perth.

Growing nicely in Perth. New jnr clubs. Elite jnr pathways developed. Under 20's team coming next year. NSW cup team year after. 39k crowd this year, sell out Origin coming soon, touch footy booming.
Games doing pretty good considering, you do sound like an afl fan though running it down in this way.

Imagine if the Knights and Tigers were quite successful teams and the crowd figures they’d pull in. Get your sh*t together guys

If Newcastle were like the Melbourne for the last decade (disregarding salary cap dramas) they would be averaging over 25k IMO.

Newcastle the pride of NSW.
I hope Eels can get their sht together, what a massive wasted opportunity WSS will be if they are bottom again for next couple of years.

Very proud club, I’ll give them that. I quite like the Knights, if I had to choose a second team it’d be them.

I actually find it quite concerning that some of the bottom 6 teams last year had decreases again for this year.
Parra....obvious reasons.
Sharkies....stable
Goldie....stable
Roosters .....is this because of the off year for the Anzac game ?
Canberra....concerning
Manly....SFS or CC, here we come.

The only way you can compare it properly is if the two seasons were identical in time slots.

Has anyone an indication on the Roosters v Sharks game numbers?
Surely we can get close to 25,000 to a unique, rather than just an NRL weekly club match.
If Shark's fans (according to the media) are buying about 60% of the tickets, what's going on with this 2:1 ratio?
