Sorry but why do we need every game on a different time? Answer: TV.

I do not see a reason why you could not have 2 games with mutually exclusive fan bases on at the same time either Sat or Sun to f**k off Thurs and Fri 6pm.

Broncos v Titans would not cannibalise a Knights v Raiders game for example. The neutrals can watch what they want and I bet the ratings would not move much but the crowds would.....

The current times of games being played are here to stay for at least the next 5 years so I suggest we all get used to it...

Smith Grant and the other administrators two years sgo decided to maximum the TV tme slots and number of days played to reel in the dollars...

Is was Smiths call to swap the 2nd Fri 7.30 game to Thursday

TV made the offer but it's still up to the NRL brains trust to agree

Erm. What u are saying is half a million fans in the Hunter Valley is worth less that half a million fans in Bankstown, Lakemba and surrounds right?

I call bullshit...
Oh, you still work on the outdated logic that only people within certain geographic catchments support a team?

LOL

I call bullshit...

Even if this was the case, which I highly doubt. Why are the NRL scheduling for ratings? It's not their concern.

More likely it's favoritism
Are you genuinely trying to tell me Newcastle rate as well on TV as Canterbury do?

No. But the Dogs don't have as large a fan base outside of Sydney as teams like Saints, Souths or even Newcastle. I think you have an over inflated opinion of how many people actually think your team is watchable particularly over the last few years.

I think the Knights have at least an equal supporter base to the Lakemba Dogs.

Penrith whinging again, despite another soft draw that, god forbid, requires them playing Melbourne ONCE, in Melbourne!

"I can't believe we are playing Melbourne for the last three years in Melbourne," said Panthers CEO Brian Fletcher.

"We played Melbourne in '16 and '17 in Melbourne. Then you come to a draw in '18 and you think if you're only going to play them once, you'd look at it and say it's a no-brainer to play it in Penrith.

"They're just simple things. You'd think they could send out a draft and if there are any glaring errors you could point them out to them. Now you can't change it.

"You talk about putting out a cap on football club spending to make everything equal and then we have to play away to Melbourne three years in a row."

You'd like to think so, sadly minor things don't paint a good picture of the NRL as an organisation. Little things matter, It's funny how to attention is overlooked in some workplaces..

One error on something like that can happen despite the best of intentions. I had a reply e-mail yesterdaty afternoon thanking me for letting them know and it has been rectified on the NRL's website (and it has I just checked). The Dragons v Roosters game is at 4.10 pm and the Storm v Warriors is at 7pm. The error was the HTML version for Round 8 on the NRL website as I'd suspected.

Overall, it’s the Sydney clubs that are happy with the draw. No surprise there

There is still a lot of stupidity surrounding the draw with Sudney teams mate. Roosters only playing the Eels once. Dragons sharks on a Thursday, the list can go on and on.

No way the Knights are any magnitude less supported in either crowds or ratings to justify such a large disparity in coverage.

You do realise ratings is 5 capital cities? Sure knights have great support in newy, but do they equal bulldogs/tigers support in sydney?

I'd like to see the data. Is it enough disparity to justify the huge difference in appearances?

Secondly why are the NRL scheduling games for TV ratings? It's not their concern.
