Oh man, no. That looks horrible.

Look like it or not in this situation, the alternate colour is almost always going to be white. Which, whilst boring, has serviced the knights well.

If looking for a change though, what about black?

We could be doing far better both home and away. We have great colours, but we have never had a great strip.

What figures?

Are you capable of holding a reasoned, coherent argument without being a moron?

You took that the wrong way! Thought you were onto it. The NRL's incompetence is right through to its fundamental set up. Down to inflexible rules like having to a have "clash" guernsey even when no clash with a club is evident. Fair enough if its required (clash jumper) but not when a club has no "clash" with any given club. I can see how you could be hostile but thought you were onto it. I can handle the insult. :relaxed:

I do realise what the “rules” say, but their can be a rule saying “all clubs require a clash jersey”,
And then there’s the people that think that nrl jerseys actually clash saying “all clubs require a clash jersey”. I thought you were the latter...

A clash is more than just having a similar or same colour to another team. Often it's about ensuring there is sufficient contrast between the two jerseys being used. While it's not a perfect system by any means ensuring each club has a jersey that can be used as a clash strip avoids that. I think it's especially important when we're moving into an era where more and more people are viewing on mobile and need to be able to readily tell one team from another.

Just a thought.

The attachment of the 'Barca' strip emanates from the euphoric first premiership win and its unique and recognisable look compared to other clubs in the league.
FWIW, the Cowboys' first (only) premiership was won in an ugly strip. I hope that it never sees the light of day as a heritage or commemmoration strip.

Beauty in the eye of the beholder. Looked about their best strip so far to me! But they maybe another club that are struggling to cement a look?

True, but a recognisable established and attractive guernsey must be better than one that's not.
That makes a sweeping assumption that everyone thinks the same.

People have different opinions about jerseys just like everything else. Your inability to accept that is single-handedly sidetracking this thread from it's purpose. Respect the fact others hold an opposing view and move on.

Timmah stop feeding it. The more you ignore the quicker it will return to where it came

A recognisable established guernsey is just that! Its stood up to the popularity test? That's a very valid point. Nothing radical about that Timmah?

We’ve had better jerseys, that away version we wore is much better than the home, I’m glad we wore that one in the GF. But it stands to reason, it still shits on the moronic horns jersey we’ve got for the next 2 year, FMD that thing is horrendous. I saw one in the flesh today flying back from the states when we got to Brissy airport, the f**king thing is a disgrace

Whoever approved it should be made to to watch Michael Bani and Shannon Hegarty in NQ colours highlights for 24 hours straight as punishment. It’s fine for a kids jersey as it has a bit of a kids element to it, but fair dinkumn for an adult its a disgrace.

A blue shirt with a big set of oversized horns does not make a jersey.

Well apparently it does, just not a very f**king good one.

Thanks for your rock solid support faceless champ. I'm sure you would be good in the trenches! The points I make are very valid. Timmah is for whatever reason having a go at me? And its happened on a few occasions and out of line as well. But hey thats what it is. Amazing in a public forum too?! Very touchy lately! Have a good new year anyway genuine rugby league fans!

To be fair, you are not accepting of opinions of other people in this thread and if I'm really honest it appears your main objective here is to genius this discussion.

I'm still surprised we copped it as much as we did for our 2018 jersey given the Cowboys suite of jerseys for next season.
