Game was quite close really, if not for Chambers stinking it up and some very poor tactics by QLD in attack. James Roberts was practically dead the entire 2nd half, yet they didn’t run Inglis at him once. That’s unforgivable.

Teddy and Cook equal MoM I reckon, followed by huge efforts by Mitchell, Turbo, and the Fox. Our back 3 is set for the next 5+ series you’d have to think.

Cleary and Maloney basically unsighted all night, except for Maloney’s f**k ups obviously. The win papered over their ineffective play - although at least they were smart enough to feed Mitchell out wide, unlike Hunt and muenster starving Greggie all night.

Forwards battle was pretty lacklustre across the board. No reason to make changes there - although it wont happen I’d prefer they sub Cordner off when Crichton comes on and let him and frizel run wide. Frizel became invisible once he shifted to lock.

QLD should drop chambers, move Morgan to centre, and slot Ponga in at fullback (or slater if he is 100%).

Vaughan too much crabbing. Use your size son

Thought JDB would have better stats. Admittedly I was watching the game in a loud pub with schooner in hand but I thought he was good

Bullshit. Cleary and Maloney were good. QLD were obviously targeting Cleary and he handled it well. Maloney doesn't play and we don't win.

Be nice to see a bloke get penalised just once for taking Maloney’s head off after he has kicked the ball.

Somehow, somewhere - and soon - Cotric has to come into the side.

He's an absolute freak and a genuine set & forget for 10 years.

I suspect it'll be James Roberts spot up for grabs with Turbo moving to centre (or Cotric himself if he moves there in club land).

Either way the kid is way too good to be sitting on the sidelines for years. Of course it's likely that injury will dictate him playing sooner rather than later anyway.

Yeah, Chambers had an off night.

Commentators referred to a 'raper tackle' and I wasn't sure what that was. Probably Chambers groping at thin air when Tedesco burst through a gap all night.
