Not sure I’d agree that it’s all down to Cook, but yes the side with the best spread of talent across the park will do the job.

Right now, chooks and the melbun shouldn’t-a-beens. Maybe the chocolate soldiers too, if they can get over Gould’s ratbaggery.

Roosters were the better team on the night. Souths were the better team early in the year. I don't think that game proved anything as both teams can play much better, and both teams would be confident of winning if they meet again in the finals.

I'm disappointed we lost because I never want to lose to them, and we would've been 4 points clear at the top if we won, and I want to avoid playing Melb down there because we just cannot win down there. But I don't think that match proved much to either side.

watched the replay and confirmed by thinking from first viewing.

Souths OWNED Roosters last week however did not execute their chances , either dropped balls and or poor kicks , one resulting in the Roosters try that won them the game.
Not mentioned anywhere that souths played with 16 players for 79 minutes , also had George off for extended time to work on niggling injury and Tom off as well for HIA.

Roosters defended well , however their defence was made to look better due to Souths poor execution.

If Souths meet Roosters again , then Souths will kill them.
Roosters have Keary to come back ( easily marked and will be fun for our power game to run at) whilst Souths have GI , AJ , Jennings and Graham to come back and be available for finals.

Hope Souths meet Roosters in the first finals game ......especially if Hargraves still nursing his ribs.

Ignores the fact that the Roosters played the match with 16 players for 68 minutes, and then with 15 players in the last 12 minutes after Tedesco went off for a HIA. Chris O'Sullivan played 0 minutes for the Roosters.
