Unless you're a dumb Eels fan who still wants a quick fix after that exact attitude lead Sharpe et al to cheat the cap and still run last, it shouldn't be, surely?

Administrator/Interim Board didn't hire a GM Football.
Administrator/Interim Board didn't replace Peter Gentle (attack coach)
Administrator/Interim Board hired a Strength and Conditioning coach from the AFL who spent the off season focusing on "running mechanics" to replace Palmer
Jarryd Hayne injured long term
Nathan Brown injured long term
Clint Gutherson injured long term
Manu Ma'u injured long term
Kane Evans injured off season, not fit until the back end of the season
Bevan French injured three times during the year
Mitch Moses injured/poor form
Corey Norman apparently causing issues/poor form
Kaysa Pritchard injured long term
Daniel Alvaro injured
Peni Terepo injured

We've had a horror season. To put it all on the coach is simplistic and fails to account for greater issues

A wooden spoon should typically do it. Something as elementary as the five man overlaps can't be blamed on injuries.

You should email that to Brad Arthur. He can cut and paste as his response to his post season review.

Well it can, when Brad Takairangi is defending in the back row...

I mean, it's not just injuries. But that's exactly my point. It's not JUST the injuries. It's not JUST the coaching. It's not JUST not having a GM Footy and making the head coach do that as well. It's not JUST only having one assistant. It's not JUST the AFL guy....

Put it all together though...

Muppets want to solely blame the coach, but the problem is that last year was an outlier. As I've said before, the Tigers board was dissolved in 2014 and they're still struggling to come back. Ours went on 2016 and BA took our rabble to the top 4 the next season.

I think this is worthy of review next year. I'll rather confidently state you'll be back in the bottom four with us.
