The Bryce point is a good one. We don't know if the new coach coming in won't want to change guys positions...

I know the story. Gus snd Ivan werent sold on him until after his debut. No doubt due to his poor work ethic off the field.

After a single game though he was Ivans fullback. He did not choose Whare or Naiqama over him.

The second tier salary cap was also stopped him getting a run earlier. He wasnt in the top 25.

That just doesn't happen. Which is the most unfortunate thing about all this, we'll be paying high end dollar for Nathan Cleary, and he's not that great.

We would then be in a position to offer him the minimum salary. A nice saving to offset against the costs of the court case.

Depending on the situation it would almost definitely be unacceptable
