What’s moffo got to do with it?
I replied to your comment to the vaulting violinist.

You can’t count/compare finals because they are not played at suburban grounds.
So if they aren’t counted how many more “Big events” are there for normal club rounds?
Anzac Day is about the only one I can think of.
Which is a bit of unfair advantage for crowd figures for the roosters and Steelers.
It gets a shit load of free advertising that other games don’t.
But ey.... its a great game every year.
VV = Moffo ;)

The statistics in question were provided regarding ANZ. I'm not going to go back and re-do them because you're nitpicking.

As for 'event games', you've got Good Friday, Easter Monday and Queen's Birthday just off the top of my head.

Sounds more like you're just upset your Sharkies don't get a marquee fixture.

Sharks played storm last year on Good Friday
And won I might add.

They’re called public holidays.

Is it true BankWest only has live screens in the men’s toilets and not the women’s?
I didn't notice any TV in the men's when I went
There was a try while I was at the urinal so did have a bit of a look

I was in the cheap seats though (northern end) - might be only in the better seats or just fake news

They’re called public holidays.
Canterbury and Souths have played on Good Friday for 8 years now, and at least on the Easter Weekend back to 2006, attracting crowds of:

2006 - 19529 (Easter Mon)
2007 - 34315 (Good Fri)
2008 - 21839 (Good Fri)
2009 - 22775 (Easter Mon)
2010 - 30120 (Easter Mon)
2011 - 22352 (Easter Sat)
Then all Good Friday:
2012 - 35221
2013 - 51686
2014 - 43255
2015 - 40523
2016 - 38192
2017 - 35984
2018 - 32471
2019 - 30040

ANZAC Day is "called a public holiday" and you seem to think that's event footy, why isn't Dogs v Souths Good Friday considered the same?

Then of course there's the (newer) Eels v Tigers Easter Monday game:

2014 - 50668
2015 - 35510
2016 - 36112
2017 - 28249
2018 - 30420
2019 - 29047 (moved to Bankwest, sold out)

Oh then there's Canterbury v Saints on Queens Birthday Monday too, albeit not as big as the other two:

2015 - 27291
2016 - 20153
2017 - 24083
2018 - 21376

Shouldn’t south and dogs be getting 20-25k every week?

Geez I'd be concentrating where I was aiming Richie, rather than looking at players in motion.

Nah, you don't get to just keep shifting the focus when you get proven wrong (repeatedly).

Is the Rabbitohs-Bulldogs Good Friday event footy or not?

Ha
I’d didn’t ask you to post a bunch of crowd figures .
You called it a Big event game.
Nobody apart from dogs and rabbits give a shit about it.
Clearly by those figures people are losing interest too.

The forum includes ideas on how to improve the game experience to improve the crowds,
Big screen TVs above the urinals should now be mandatory in any NRL stadium

Precisely.
I heard the complaint first hand from a woman who went to bank west.

:joy:

So essentially, what you say goes, and if it doesn't, then make shit up as you go or change the topic.

Cool story

You’re confusing a grudge match/local derby with some sort of special NRL occasion.
I literally didn’t even realise those two teams play on the same date every year.
I just thought the crowd was good because between the 2 clubs you’d have about 50k membership .
And the fact the dogs used to be good at footy.

Anzac Day is publized way more by the NRL.
Even the charity shield is talked up more.
Broncos v N qld gets the same result
Any knights knights home game
Sharks v Dragons
Roosters dogs ( big crowd to watch the fights in the crowds )
Parra Penrith

The question is where do all the dogs and rabbits fans go the rest of year?

Excuse me? Provide proof or retract that vile claim

That along with the public holiday is the because the NRL class it as one of their "Event" games. There was extra publicity for that match from the NRL.

Right
I’m dead serious when I say I hadn’t noticed any extra advertising from the NRL.
In fact I didn’t even know it was a thing.
