Roosters should be playing 1/2 their home games in potential expansion areas. NRL gives them a bucket of cash and at the same time, the NRL guages interest in the area

Ah, no they shouldn't. I don't recall you saying Parramatta should whilst Parramatta Stadium was being redeveloped.

Still got the huge GC v Sharks and Panthers v Manly games to come on Thursday nights

Geez.... no offence to those teams but surely if they are thurdsay games - some could be relocate to regional areas surely..others have suggested.

Roosters may suggest this takes away home advantage, memberships also..

Problem is though regional areas want the tourism to flow through. So will always get Sat games as a result

Should be a bonza crowd

Parra was sold out.. Despite many not showing up for the rain.
Bathurst sold out
This and the Souths game in round should go close too.

Makes up for the horrible crowd the Thurs night and 6pm Friday night will pull

I like the 3pm kickoff time for Souths v Manly. Following Manly’s massive win last week the crowd should be quite good.

9k is a pass I guess, given the venue, interstate opponent and weather forecast. Certainly not terrible in comparison to the Bunnies/Dragons crowd a fortnight ago.

Gold Coast Titans Members' Email:

You know we love you. We really do. The Titans love all of our proud, loyal and committed Members – and that means you.

The Titans think of our Members truly as a part of our club, and we hope you feel the same way.

This year, we have been working hard to find new ways to help you, our Members, feel even more engaged and connected with the Titans, and the work that we are doing to make this club as great as we all want it to be.

We hope you have enjoyed some of our new initiatives like our Member Exclusive content, and the new voting procedure for the Members Player of the Year Award.

These sorts of initiatives have been introduced to help you feel more directly involved with the Titans, and to also reiterate the fact that your support of the club through being a Member makes a difference and is not taken for granted.

Another important part of our relationship with our Members is having clear and open communication with you to let you know what is happening at the club and things that are in the pipeline that might affect you.

Shortly, the Club plans to announce some discount ticket packages to the upcoming games against Penrith and Newcastle at Cbus Super Stadium.

These ticket discounts are being applied in an attempt to boost crowd numbers, plain and simple.

Unfortunately, these games don’t rate as “glamour matches” for a lot of fans, so we are doing everything we can to get some more “bums on seats”.

Boosting crowd numbers is important for a lot of reasons.

Aside from creating a better atmosphere and game-day experience for our loyal fans like you, it also helps to generate future additional membership sales, as well as commercial opportunities with corporate partners.

Of course, you know that being a Titans Member is about more than a ticket price – and being a Member still works out as a cheaper way to see your team in action.

It is only on very rare occasions that we would offer a single-game ticket deal at less than what our Members have paid. This is NOT one of those occasions, but we thought it was important to let you know what is behind this new offer.

We hope you agree that we are working hard on giving you more value with your Membership with exclusive content, discounts, merchandise and events reserved just for you.

But to avoid any surprises, we also wanted to be upfront about initiatives like this and keep you in the loop.

It’s what families do. And we thank you again for being part of the Titans family.

The NRL need to seriously look at having "hosting rights" for Thursday night footy.

Places like Perth, Adelaide, Gosford etc should be given games.

9,000 for the reigning premiers vs the Broncos is horrible. Souths vs Gold Coast on Sunday no better. That game should have been the one taken to Qld FFS.

Take that game to Adelaide and get 9000 and every merkin on the Eastern Seaboard has to watch it on TV anyway, which is what they probably did by the look of things.

So tickets through the PlayNRL codes for junior players and volunteers have apparently been capped at 100 per game.
