Only a fool would think they aren’t part of the issue. broncos faced two of the issues tonight. Dragons faced three of them last Thursday and two of Sydney’s biggest clubs drew 10k. If they had drawn 15k plus I’d agree suburban grounds don’t impact crowds but it wasn’t close.

Except on several occasions last year Sydney's biggest clubs drew less than 10k at ANZ and SFS on Thursdays.

jesus christ, I love a bronco bash as much as the next person, but it was a 7pm kickoff on a f**king Thursday night. I finish work at 5:30pm like most people, I would have gone
to this as a casual but would have missed kick off by a fair margin. It’s hard to get off work early twice in 6 days ffs.

this game would have had a decent crowd on a sunday arvo. It is ridiculous scheduling a game of that caliber on a Thursday night. There is a decent amount of dragons supporters in Brissy, I always seem to remember them
being one of the broncos better attended games. I’m happy to be corrected.

Not bashing them. Thurs night is the issue regardless of who plays in them. It isn't a suburban ground or Sydney problem

Still they are a 1 city team and got a crowd the knights get on a Thursday night. woeful effort by the Broncos. Cant wait for another Brisbane team to smash their arrogant asses.

Nothing better than bashing the Broncos....umm maybe Storm bashing or any team coached by Wayne Bennett is right up there though

Cowboys, Storm, Dragons and Warriors are usually the best away support just off the top of my head too.

What were Monday night crowds like before that game was cut in favour of Thursday night? Im guessing they were even worse.

They were rubbish but still slightly better than current Thursday nights. They also weren't 9 games so were rarely big games such as souths v dragons or eels v dogs. Brisbane had f**k all monday night home games.

Wondering what we're the ticket prices for last night's game? That may be a big part of the poor turn out as well!?
