I agree, but it happened around 230pm and to my understanding traffic is still kinda heavy so unless you live under a rock you would have heard about it comin from Sydney or wherever to save the trip
Agreed.

Looks like it'll be up to Newy to save rugby league again
This logic works for the core base of fans - who can and likely did attend.I agree. But if you were heading to the game, it would probably be your only choice, so wouldn't you stick it out if you wanted to attend?
To be fair mate, and at some stage us Sydneysiders are going to have to admit this. Sydney fans just can't be f**ked attending games in big numbers. Last night, with two Sydney teams at a brand new stadium, should have been more. Way more. Sure, Thursday night ain't great but it wasn't even the 9800 crowd they claimed. Way under that. GWS figures claimed.
Tonight at WIN is just as embarrassing. A car crash. FFS. There's always Bulli Pass.
It's well past the time that us NRL fans try and protect our shitty crowds.
It's a cultural difference between us and other states, and tbh, I don't really know what the answer is to fix it.
We just can't defend our shitty crowds anymore, no matter how many excuses are thrown up.
I'm sympathetic to the situation. Awful for the families of all those involved. An awful situation which I saw on the news. Just a terrible, sad, event. I mean that.
I'm just not going to cop it as being an excuse for such a shite crowd tonight.
Seriously Adelaide is a dump.
Why the stupid merkining f**k would they make this game at the same time the crows are playing away.
The crowd definitely seemed a bit off tonight, to be honest the viewing angle from most of the lower bowl isn’t great for RL, found myself watching the screen half the time and even then it was hard to tell what was going on. Really need to put this fixture on a Saturday to make it easier for fans to travel in.But that was one quiet crowd, it was good at times/after a try but majority of the time was fairly quiet, i think a chant only really started up once for each side

Why do people care so much about crowds figures?
Jealous of what sorry?Because they are jealous
