Geez the Murdoch mob are trying hard to get their guy a win.

Adolf Hitler something something but Bill Shorten is worse.

Libs are shot ducks. Labor's wacky socialist shitshow is going to appeal for some reason & they'll get in.

Shorten may be a charisma free zone but ScoMo is a dead set f*ckwit along with his deadset f*ckwit mates.

ScoMo could be the best option we'd ever had in our history, and I still wouldn't vote for the merkin cos he's a Sharks fan

There is no incentive for talented people to enter and those that are soon get worn down by the system.

So many people have a 10 second attention span and an expectation of instant gratification. Sadly, these merkins also have a voice that is much more powerful than it has ever been thanks to social media.

I think if most of us were in the same position as ScoMo and Shorten we'd also treat it as a popularity contest.

Its much more effective means of being elected than intelligent, well thought out ideas and leadership.

I agree in part.

But I also think that the most effective way to be more popular is to actually understand what people want from their government and create policies accordingly...I mean, it's simple, but seems to have escaped the current crop

Do people really know what they want?

If they do name something it is often unrealistic and they aren’t willing to compromise.

I think a lot of people just want to complain.

Individuals don't know shit, they're selfish. And there's no doubt that many people will hate something just because the Libs or Labor came up with it. My brother is one of those types

But there's also no doubt that a policy that is well thought out and beneficial in the main will win support from lots of people if it's close to what they selfishly want from a government.

Never has there been less talent in Federal politics than now.

I think they've got the same level of talent as the past, in some cases more.

They just lack any kind of conviction for the ideas and policy's that they randomly come up with.

Essentially it's just two major premiership contenders and the team members just argue the plans for the teams. If the individual chose the other team originally, they'd argue their ideas were also good in the same manner.

Give me an example of the sort of policy that you are referring to that hasn't currently been canvassed?

It's not my job to create policy mate, I just comment on it.

Actually I could barely tell you one of these idiots policies, because all they do is shout about each other.
