re: roosters away, white writing on the comp logo on a white jersey, well done whoever the dumb merkin was that allowed that to happen.

It definitely looks better on the Roosters home jersey -

It looks better because its not the same shade of blue.

I hope this proves that "match to logo to the club colours" is officially a shit idea.
If I recall, someone earlier in this thread said the NRL had limited the badge backings to only a handful of colours, which is why most appear not to have the same colour as the jersey backing.

But then Canberra's two jerseys appear to have two different greens, so now I'm not sure.

its as I suspected

they have NFI what they are doing.
if the raiders with two greens can have two different shields. Then why cant teams have different colours for different jerseys.
why is this so hard for NRL HQ.

It might be an optical illusion...

If the green of the jersey is different, the badge might look lighter or darker in contrast.

I am assuming they are the official logos for the new match-up.

I think they are brilliant!!! it just confirms to me again that the only people in our game with any respect for branding are in the admin bodies

The clubs would shit on their own jumpers if they thought it would make them some money.

Indigenous logo is the same as last year (the black space between the circle and ALL STARS says Indigenous, they put it on the wrong background.

This certainly goes against the original guidelines that the NRL sent out. I believe that black was to be used if you didn't want to use any of the other five or six colour options they gave.

Seems strange to make such rigid colouring guidelines when the rest of the brand is about flexibility of application. Even weirder to bend those rules for a single jersey for one the NRL's forgotten teams.

I hope they work out these kinks for 2020, whether its by my suggestion or something else.
