I was so wrong about Lane. I totally bagged him as a signing. Thought he ha da decent trial but wanted to see him in a real game. And he was outstanding today.

More impressive considering the players we had out, Paulo, manu, Peni, Pritchard ( would offer more then smith in the last 20 or so if Mahoney isn’t play 80) plus Nrown.

Can’t wait to see what Paulo is going to add.

I think it was to stop him carrying the ball on tackle two and three. I'm sure the commentators said as much. It makes sense.

Good, solid win under pressure from the sin-binning.

Niukore was fantastic. Brown and Mahoney were fantastic. Moses was great. Lane will be a revelation for us. Mannah is a beast.

If we can get Junior back on deck next week then we should be in with a decent shot to go back-to-back.

Can't complain too much after today and it will be a long week waiting to see whether we can back it up.

That was my impression too. I can't have seen everything he did but what I did see didn't impress.

He didn’t need to do anything impressive....he came on rolled his sleeves up, cut the crap out of his game and did his job... it was a solid stint
