I heard an NRL coach say the same thing on the radio. I was trying to change the channel whilst reversing out of my driveway.

I never bagged him. I did say he was a poor man's Davey, but thats still a compliment to be fair.

We got there for the first game and it rained plenty and we were very wet, happy to be thawing out!

Penrith were hot garbage, if Jennings didn't have a brainfart we would have beat them to nil again.

We bombed a few tries too.

I thought we looked much better this week in attack than we did in the trials.

When it was 13 on 13 i thought we looked sharp until Mahoney went off, we lost plenty with him off the field and Smith seemed to stifle plenty of our plays. I think we put the game away a lot earlier if Mahoney was on the field......just my opinion though.

And lastly, i said this after the Penrith trial but i will say it again......the Penrith supporters have no f**king idea about the rules of the game......while i think we got a few favourable calls some of the shit they came out with......they didn't think any of the high tackles were high, except for the Jennings one of course.

He didn’t need to do anything impressive....he came on rolled his sleeves up, cut the crap out of his game and did his job... it was a solid stint

As it turns out he didn't need to do anything impressive. But needed or not, he didn't do anything impressive. Everyone's happy with him cos we won. The exact same performance in a losing team would have everyone calling for his head. But hey, we won.

They lost some quality players from last year merrin, peachey and harawira-naera, the later two were close to their best players last year

The also won a lot of games coming from behind, , doubt they can do that again in a lot of games like last year, that , they couldn't today

I think they are in a decline phase, Maloney aint any younger, pressure on cleary/cleary will be exposed

Agreed they're a worse team than last year. But last year they were pretty good. I'd tip them to finish ahead of us this year. But they lost today so f**kem
