60% possession due to poor handling as a result of the defensive pressure we applied mainly.
10-2 penalty count due to their lack of discipline (Maloney x 2 high tackles for example)
123 less tackles because of the above 2 reasons
A difference of 2 missed tackles and 2 less tackle breaks - negligible in the overall scheme of the game
2 missed sideline conversion or we were 6 points ahead with 5 minutes to go.
Oh and they only scored their first try when we were down to 12 men.

Maybe you did see a different game.

Well I thought James Tamou was best on field tbh. He looked terrific.

60% possesion
10-2 Penalty count in our favour
123 less tackles
Yet we missed more tackles and made less tackle breaks
2 points ahead with 5 to go.

Maybe I saw a different game. I thought the Panthers looked more skillfull and dangerous with ball. It was just poor ball handling in the wet that cost them.

Nikuore impressed me as did Taka with his offloads. Alvaro I thought missed easy tackles and was piss weak in his efforts for Tamou try. Looked a yard slow in my eyes. May need time to adjust to new playing weight.
Mannah plugged away, defense was very good. Ferguson was superb. Sivo lacked the power I thought he may have.

Pack has potential to be very good once Jnr,Terepo and Manu slot back in.

Penrith were shithouse Couldn't play in the conditions

penalties should have been more our way

MJ shouldn't have been binned, and is the only way Penrith got back into it

Moses was solid.
Why was MJ binned. It was an accident. What a dumb rule. Id say give a team an 18th man. Can use him if a concussion happens within first 60mins.

With 12 to go my money would of been on the Panthers tbh. Looked more dangerous. A poor refs call when ball went back and gave us a scrum on halfway swung momentum back in our favour. We where very lucky in this one.

They only got back in courtesy of the MJ binning. Really didn’t seem to create any opportunities or trouble us

He was definitely the best, though how often does a player on the losing team get man-of-the-match? Normally that's reserved for the merkins all the commentators love. I'm surprised Cleary didn't get it.

I'm not a Moses fan but it looks like he's bulked up a bit in the off-season. It probably won't have much effect on his attack but it should on his defence. I think it might even have done so tonight. Still a bitch but.

He'd also be on double or triple what Evans is on, so I hope he would play more minutes.

I disagree. If we were behind on the scoreboard we would need his offload.

Every club needs them.

I'd say Evens is on more than you think. He did sign a 3 year deal in May of the previous season.
