The old Saints Penfolds and BHP of the Steelers jersey had so much integrity. Absolute dogs breakfast that Saints away. Would you seriously buy that over a retro jersey just for the different NRL patch?

Give me retro any day. Although I actually like the full red kit the dragons wore last night, just needs far better sponsorship integration.

I haven't bought Dragons jersey since 2011, swore off jerseys til I saw us win a comp. The previous one I bought as in 1999 for the GF... with #11 on the back. Darren Treacy. That Jersey was cursed forever after that fateful day.

There’s a speck of yellow on the Hostplus logo and a little bit of orange for Tigerair. Otherwise it’s perfect. Goes out the window a little on the white away jersey but it’s nothing too drastic.

Storm, the Roosters and Souths have the best sponsor integration in the NRL.

But really, if they're going back to all red, would it really kill them to add a couple of white Steelers stripes to the sleeves?!?

Like the Newtown Jets, the armbands are simple but they make the whole jersey. Yet they are covered up these days. Sacrilegious. Welcome to Rugby League 2020.

Fear in future they’ll eventually get rid of club emblems on jerseys as there’s more real estate they can plaster another bumper sticker on..

So which is right? Black or white?

I honestly don’t know at this point so I’m just going to wait until the season starts before I say which one is correct!

From what I can tell from the trial that the Sharks are playing in right now the correct nrl logo for their home jersey is the black one!

While this might not seem like much, I noticed two unusual things. 1. If you look closely you can see that the rabbitohs logo is yellow. Their 2019 alternate jersey did not have this. 2. Why would they be wearing alternate against the dragons?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this may be their 2020 alternate jersey.

The NRL told Souths werent allowed to use the Gold Logo version(because it wasnt our recognised logo) against Canberra so they had to get another set made with the usual white rabbit. worth noting that they didnt bother to change the ISC on the shoulder to white as well

Yes, i saw the parra vs penrith trial on the Saturday, and parra home jersey looked great but they have 4 stripes on the sleeves covered, why bother having the stripes if you're just gonna cover them

... and just like that our perfect sponsorship integration has been ruined.

They should have just placed "Crown" and then their logo in a straight line and put it in the position where the ISC logos are on both sides. In saying that it's probably not an approved section of the jersey to have sponsorship positioned there.

With the throwback stripe added to the sleeves last year it was always going to be tough to have perfect sponsorship integration. Unless we got Coca Cola to upgrade their sponsorship!
