Great, Grand Finalist Roosters and Canberra play each other twice but in round 11 then round 15, so much for a decent space between matches when teams play each other twice in the premiership rounds.

Stating the obvious but there needs to be a better distribution of free to air games across all clubs. Granted, some will always get more because they are ‘higher profile’ clubs and I’m okay with that. But the Broncos shouldn’t be getting 18 free to air games while clubs like the Raiders and the Sharks - who have been very strong in recent years - only get eight. It gives the Broncos a leg up in the form of corporate support and potential sponsorship that they just don’t need.

Why are the Tigers and Panthers in the box seat for FTA coverage? Are people clamoring for the silky smooth skills of Dylan Edwards or the explosive, jump out of your seat excitement of Robert Jennings? Oh no, I get it. Sundee arrvvvooo at Leichhardt Oval.

At the very least teams that made the 8 like the Raiders and Sharks should get that many FTA games and the back-to-back premiers should get a hell of a lot more than 10.

Good to see the NRL taking advantage of AFL-free weekends in Melbourne by scheduling Storm away games for the first two rounds.

This is a much fairer system for all 16 clubs. Teams like the Raiders, who have had little or no prime-time exposure for their sponsors, will get more Channel 9 matches.

Not too much wrong with the draw other than what's already been stated. A few disappointments though:
- As has been pointed out, Cowboys v Broncos + opening game at NQ Stadium are the same. 2 sellouts merged into 1. But then Broncos host Cowboys in Round 5 on Good Friday, so there's another 2 possible big crowds merged into 1.
- Disappointing that they couldn't f**k off the Friday 6pm game to have another game on ANZAC Day, especially since Canberra requested one.
Could have easily gone:
2pm - Raiders v Souths
4pm - Roosters v Dragons
6pm - Cowboys v Bulldogs
8pm - Storm v Warriors

Roosters have somewhat of an odd draw only playing Sydney rivals parra, wests, bulldog and Penrith once each.

Holding the GF replay in Perth is bizarre too. I don't see Canberra increasing the crowd there more than any other non Sydney team. Should have either played it at the SCG or let raiders host it.

On another note and this isn't a whinge, 13 out of a possible 14 of our games are against fellow 2019 finalists with 6 out of a possible 6 against fellow top 4 teams which leaves 11 out of a possible 16 games against non finalists.

Interested to see the breakdown for everyone else.

Normally I'd agree, but right now I don't want to watch the Warriors let alone force neutrals to endure it too.

Also notice that of the first 7 rounds, we only get 2 home games, the first one is at the Central Coast in Round 2. The second one is Round 4, at 6.15 pm on a Sunday v Titans at the SCG. Our next home game is then not until Round 8 and that is the Magic Round at Suncorp against the Cowboys. So effectively we get 1 home game in Sydney in the first 8 weeks of the season.

We're 11 out of 14 against finalists.We have 6 out of a possible 6 against fellow Top 4 teams and also play 5th placed Manly twice.

Every game we play next season is against a team who did worse than us this season. No other team has that benefit
