I probably took footy too seriously when I was younger. My perspective in the past couple of years has changed, not that it’s anyone’s business but you seem so interested? It’s funny to me that somebody would care about posters on a footy forum.
What dribble.

I remember because I couldn’t believe anyone who didn’t support the Storm could just so happily hop on their bandwagon. Now you carry on like you’re the most staunchest Penrith fan ever. Fraud.

I'm like you. I used to get so wound up, swearing and yelling and letting a footy result ruin my night.
Now I take it less serious and go throw it up my wife when the games over.

Yeah same. I also take it less serious because it’s been a tough year in other ways and I’m just grateful that the Panthers success provides some joy.

That's it mate.
2020 has been a merkin, add in people's personal issues with how the year has unfolded and it makes footy less important.
f**k it's great to be 13 in a row. This is unheard of for Penrith and might not be repeated in our lifetime, just enjoy it hey.
If we can knock off the storm or rooters along the way then f**k yeah!

That was pre 2010 though when I cheered on Storm in the finals after our season was over, not knowing obviously that they had cheated. I had a soft spot for them as I was born in Melbourne and have family there. I didn’t have the same attitude towards then after I knew they had cheated.

As if you’d care to bring up stuff that happened over a decade ago on an online forum. Grow up mate.

Who then dropped the ball on our line which resulted in a game defining try.

IIRC.

That certainly sounds like the man who decided he should kick a 40/20 early in the count with his side up in the dying moments against the Dragons, only to drill it into row three about 20 from where he kicked it.

The Dragons scored immediately after and stole the game

Good luck with that.

That is the attitude you should have though.

My attitude doesn’t come from smugness.

It comes from pure, unadulterated, genuine, bonafide hatred.

I despise the Roosters and their supporters.

I despise them so much that I happily sat in the rain at ANZ stadium on the 5th of October 2003 with a chest infection to watch Penrith triumph over them in the Grand Final.

I despise your club so much, that given we choke in the finals this year, I’d rather see the Eels or even the Storm win a Premiership over your club.

Once upon a time there was a footy team that reached week 3 of the finals with Will Smith in the halves.
He is a solid depth player, had a long stint in first grade last year and went okay. Anyone pointing the finger at the little blokes tonight is off the mark. Parra lost the game in the middle, which includes the outside backs being ineffective getting us out of trouble.
