It was a different game in 1959. The records that side set will never be beaten.

By the way, the record for consecutive wins was set by Eastern Suburbs Roosters in 1975, at 19. The Panthers can reach 18 this year which would be the most in the NRL era. We've already surpassed St George's club record of 12 successive wins.

Gotta agree here, what has happened to him? When he went to Bulldogs I was upset we didn’t get him, but he is a shadow of his former self now. Watching the early game tonight I was thinking of a game he played for the kiwis at fullback where he was best on ground and thought what the f**k happened?
