Possibly but after that display I doubt it. Croft probably needs at least 1-2 seasons before he is a dominant halfback like Moses showed tonight and Darius Boyd while not doing too much wrong tonight is really just a passenger keeping a young up and coming player out of the team.
As long as youve got one ready to go. Experience is still a thing.

Eels haven't really played anyone of note yet.Parra have got Manly next week, followed by the Cleary led Panthers the week after that. Then in the 6th round the Roosters, then a 7th round clash V the Raiders.

Parra's chances should be a lot clearer after the Raiders game.

Broncos really need leadership. Resilient in defense but pushed their hand way too early when the game was swinging their way. They are a scrape 8 side at best.

Eels smeels. I'll wait until it matters which is usually when they show their true colours.

Broncos were expected to be one of the movers and shakers, and may still be but they didn't offer much tonight except for lots of turnovers. I don't know what share of the ball Parra had because the NRL site sets off my anti-virus, but it must have been over 60%. We'll get more of an idea on Parra when they don't have such a glut of possession.

I'd take a rookie over Boyd. The rookie is a chance of breaking the line at some stage of the season while Darius is no chance.

Meh I can’t believe we are rated...

Let’s look at our spine...

Hooker- pretty average at best
5/8- a fat lump of lard
Halfback- okay but never more than a 6.5/10
Fullback- C grade at best (you know it’s awful when Bird is an option there)

Then we won’t talk about Darius plodding along worse than a crab on a Heavy 10 at Moe...

Potentially we have a great pack..but the spine is awful!

No he won't. Thankfully.
They'll be better than last year.

Just gotta see how Storm, Roosters and Raiders travel this year. Parra are a very well balanced side and have just lacked consistency in the past. Beating the shit teams when you're expected to has been harder for them than getting up for a big game.

Feel like Parra went one too many up the guts with a forward when a they could've sent it 2 passes either side and found space and points. Example: after it took 5 to bring down Evans just left of the posts they sent another forward 1 out, there had to be space for Moses/Matto/Waqa/Fergo on the right.

Just not sold on Moses. He can do the pretty stuff and look a million bucks when he’s winning...can he do it when they aren’t to grind out wins. Canberra with their draw should be even money.

We suck and should be 1000-1 with our spine

Parra had only one thing in attack and that was the ability to hold the ball and off load. Parra only had 2 things in attack .....

All they did was hold the ball and kept running straight, they really didn't have a lot of options, if they did they would have put 80 on a crap Broncos side. the Bronco's looked strong in defence because they were not over challenged just overly worked.

It reinforced a couple of things, these young bronco forwards maybe great one day, but they are still not good enough to stand up when the chips are down. IT also confirms that Siebold is the worse coach in the game.

So did Parra have one thing in attack or two? Very well thought out first paragraph.
