That isnt saying anything.

He wouldn't walk into the raiders, the cowboys, the broncos, the eels..just off the top of my head. Im sure if I give more then 30 seconds I can come up with plenty more.
Maybe not the raiders or Broncos
cowboys he would easily
He would probably make the starting side in more than 10 teams

Based on you claiming he can walk into any backline and that he had Scott in reserve grade. Scott was dealing with his off field issues and depression then he came back befgore he hurt his foot and was out for months. Olam looks to have improved a lot from the journeymen he was in 2018 but he is far from a player that would walk into any backline. He is just another solid player made to look a lot better playing on the end of Bellamys backline. Go back through they years and look at the all the backs that have created reputations at the storm and tell me what they did before or after Melbourne.

The reality is Scott came back from injury & sat in reserve grade because Olam was ahead of him. You can make all the excuses or hypotheticals you want, that's what happened. I'm not making anything of this up.

Not sure why he's a journeyman either, he's played for 1 club - Melbourne.

You argue for the sake or arguing. Here I was thinking I had it bad with my mrs.

No the reality is there was a lot going on behind the scenes with Scott that made Bellamy not want him, there was stories all year about Scotts off field behaviour and a broken foot in between, to put it down to Olam keeping him out is ludicrous.

I just call bullshit when I see it, Olam walking into any backline is bullshit. He was still a reserve grader at 24 at his second queensland cup team hence why I called him a journeymen.

I would love to see a final series without the Roosters and the Storm. Getting so sick of those 2 either winning titles or making grand finals.
Yep, the salary cap still evening out the competition providing it's a cashless society with no golf courses.

I could argue against the 3 or 4 clubs you've mentioned he wouldn't make but it's not worth my time. If you'd pick Jenko at 32/33 over him, well....

Scott came back into the team eventually... for Chambers. Which would make it pretty clear, to me anyway, Olam was being selected in front of him regardless of what had happened earlier in the year.

Argue it then. Jennings is 31 right now, he won’t be 33 anytime soon. I’ll take him over 26 year old whose career is in its teens. Throw in the Rabbitohs, the sharks and the warriors and roosters also.

edit: you have changed your story re Scott being dropped a couple times now, you really seem reliable on that one.

I have no idea what you're talking about re; Scott & changing my story. I've just said what happened to him last year.

Jesus, Jennings would struggle to make our backline at the moment & he's only getting older.

@franklin2323 he's has been playing centre, not wing. Not sure why you think that makes him a winger.

The Panthers have released an injury update. Yeo, JFH, Cartwright and Capewell should all be ready for round 1. But Kenny won't be back to full training until early March and will be available in the early couple of rounds.

They didn't mention To'o at all, so he must be fully recovered from his collapse and concussion. Missing the 9's must be purely precautionary.

Also gave an update on Staines injury, and said he should be fine for the trials. I'm glad they are going to give him a run in the trials, as they haven't made him a development player like they have with Laurie. Hopefully both get some game time to show what they can do.

World Cup qtr final. Named on the wing surely if he is really a centre he is best one PNG has?

You'll have to call him versatile. Started as a winger but played at centre for all of 2019. Including centre for PNG at the back end of 2019.

I think he can be called a centre/winger. But he is 26 and has played 17 games in two seasons since debuting in 2018. That makes him barely established in first grade and some are talking him up as a star who walks into every lineup.

@martielang Jennings scored more tries at a better per game average than Olam did last year, they both defended at 79 percent tackle efficiency yet one is a beast according to you who can walk into any lineup and the other would struggle to make our back line, righto champ.

Worth noting half of Olams 7 career tries since debuting came in a hattrick during a 36-6 win.

To'o shits all over Olam as a prospect. Better defender and attacker and much younger. He managed to score more tries than Olam playing one more game on the end of the worst attacking backline. Way more metres, way higher tackle efficiency...its not even close.

I ain't going back & forth any longer. This all came from me saying @franklin2323 underestimates the Storm backline, which he does, & now you're comparing Olam with To'o - what? Back to the Storm, I highly doubt Brenko Lee will be in 17 come Rnd 1 for the Storm, but hey lets wait & see.

FWIW I'd take Olam over 90% of centres / outside backs in the game. He's still very raw but his improvement in half a year was ridiculous. You can have a 32 year old Jenko back.

And I made Too comparison to point out how overrated Melbourne players can get. Too is better at everything and has never been talked up like he’s a star.
