I exaggerated. I'm 47 next week. I'm sore all over at my age. It's not easy. Still I'm taking a year off later this year. Going to play guitar, do a bit of exercise and relax.

This week will be telling for our season. After the Dogs game when we were in 6th but had lost a number of players we were talking about the next 5 weeks

Panthers, Souths, Broncos, Eels, Warriors

I thought 2 from 5 would be acceptable and I still do. We’ve lost the first 2 but kept our F/A respectable, unlike Sharks and Manly who have coped some beltings.

We aren’t going to beat the Eels so wins over Brisbane and NZ are non negotiable. If win and lose those as expected we’ll be 6 and 6 and likely coming 7th or 8th. After them we have 8 games left and 7 of those are against top 8 sides/contenders. At least our destiny will be in our hands though and excluding any further injuries should be back to full strength expect for Musgrove.

The refs did everything possible to get Parra a win. Solid effort from Manly. Proves Parra can be beaten with toughness and a desire to win.

Not great for us that Poses, Fergo and Catterson will be back. Brown may be out though and we will have Twal back.

I so badly want to see Lucy put one on Catterson's chin. I'd almost be fine with losing the game to see that merkin knocked out cold

This is the shit that has always pissed me off about benji. Matterson shit all over the club and Benjis there praising him. Look at the comparison with Farah’s comments. It takes me back to when Benji said he cried when Heighno and Ryan left because he wouldn’t get to have lunch with them every day, and playing with his mates was more important to him then winning.

Benji has never had that win at all costs mentality. He doesn’t have to come out and bag the bloke, but as a club captain I would hope that he would at least portray the disappointment we all felt in his actions. It’s this kind of attitude that holds him back from being an all time great and keeps our club mediocre.
