What years do you believe we should have won a comp under smith.

Looking back i see 2005 as more of a missed opportunity than 2001. That prelim final performance is more horrific then the 2001 GF imo.

We had a better team and our opponents were weaker. That cowboys team had 50 points put on them by us eariler that year when we rested 5 players backing up from city-country. And then had 50 points put on them semi final 2 weeks earlier.

The tigers had momentum but we always have had their measure plus we had the advantage of players having had GF experience from 4 years eariler.

We had a better team then the tigers and should have beaten them in the GF if we got there
St George had a better team than the Tigers and should have also made the GF.

2005 was a merkin of a year. I stopped emotionally investing in Parra after that Cowboys game. That team can suck a massive penis.

Yep. We had a better team than both the Tigers and Cowboys that year. The only team that matched us was the Dragons, and they choked too.

I didn't think anyone would come close to Melbourne storm still claiming the 2009 premiership but has there been a more ungracious bunch of winners then penrith.

From Brian To'o wanting to be the centre of attention by proposing to his GF on the field.

Tyrone May carrying on like a f.wit and showing no remorse whatsoever for his actions. Lucky he isnt in jail

His teammates supporting him publically

Jarome Luai being Jarome luai

Villiame kikau taunting souths fans and taking piss out of the souths song. Now i dont mind putting shit on souths but seriously i wouldn't be pleased if one of our players did that. Its shows no humility.

The club basically trashing the proven summons trophy

Now its been reported nathan cleary is being investigated as 3 of his mates have been busted crossing the border and supposedly attending the GF when they shouldn't have.

Throw in Ivans constant whinging about the refs. Their illegal tactics with trainers between stopping the game illegally or hayden knowles having a walkie talkie on the field. And Gus Gould cheerleading them home on commentary.

As people at my work have said today they have shown no class whatsoever in victory.

My reasoning for choosing who to support is purely for selfish reasons. We need Penrith to win it so their motivation may waiver come 2022, ultimately giving us more of a chance. The Bunnies won't be as strong next year so no need to worry there.

Their motivation didn’t waiver. They’re an incredible squad. I take solace in that I think they beat any other premiership winning team playing like they did last night.
