I bet you if Manu rubs his neck, he gets a penalty and it goes on reportThe still shot makes it look worse than it was, but your point stands. The inconsistencies are very frustrating.

Definitely should have been a penalty but I disagree with your suggestion that he should have been charged for that. I think lots of crusher citings are actually really harsh; the attacker backs into the defender and there is nowhere to go. In this case (if my memory is correct), Manu backs in, gets low to get to the ground to avoid being taken back into the in-goal, and Kikau goes over the top of it. There was pressure on the neck, but it was momentary and the pressure wasnt down like the traditional crusher. You are just incapable of impartiality when it comes to Penrith.
If you don't think there is pressure on joey's neck then I can't help you. It was dangerous and a penalty at the absolute minimum
Remember that "Shoulder charge" he got suspended for last year?Definitely should have been a penalty but I disagree with your suggestion that he should have been charged for that. If you want to point at Kikau as being a protected species you could highlight some of the head-highs he gets away with.
That was probably OTT as a suspension. But the CNK probably also remembers the shot Kikau got him earlier this year that he wasn't charged for, and there have been a few others (obviously not as bad in terms of outcome) that he hasn't been charged with. I just want him to bend his knees a bit more and et lower when he comes into tackle because being such a big man he does collect people in the mellon if he mistimes it or they stumble just before him.Remember that "Shoulder charge" he got suspended for last year?
I reckon Hutchison coming in behind Crichton played a part in the crusher tackle. I don’t remember the tackle that Crichton was charged for. That for me suggest it wasn’t a bad tackle. For me, the crusher law (ie suspensions) is there for @ssholes that try to hurt their competitors by wrestling them into a certain position and then dropping their weight down on their necks. When you see those tackles you usually remember them.I reckon Hutchison coming in behind Crichton played a part in the crusher tackle. Think he was unlucky to be charged.
I would lose that bet. We see it all the time, Sivo and Brown from Parra are specials for it. Fair play to Manu for getting on with it. In my biased opinion the Crighton one was worse, but not worthy of a suspension. Api missing a week for the push and shove is also bullshit. At least the on field refs have the excuse of having to make split second decisions during a fast moving game, the MRC on the other hand are all over the place.I bet you if Manu rubs his neck, he gets a penalty and it goes on report
I'm happy for that to just be a penalty. Ref missed it so shit happens.
As you say though it is the inconsistency as I also think Crightons was penalty only.
Just saw the tackle on a repeat of Big League Wrap. Tough to say this is a technique issue; more just the wrong place at the wrong time. Didn’t look to me to have malice or even be overly aggressive.Angus isn’t learning though. How many priors do you need to get it through your head that perhaps you should change your style. He’s already been done this year alone!

Not trueIt is only a month because of his priors. If it was a first offence he gets a week.
