Manly had plenty of chances but ultimately made too many errors. Penrith play with better discipline and effort than every other side in the competition and that’s why they win so often.

Manly played pretty well today. You guys played very well two weeks ago. Newy were decent energy wise as well. Mid level teams are lifting against us as you'd expect from a team on a roll like ours, we're a bit off the pace as well. I'd rather fight for victories at this time of year than breeze through so its all right by me.

The refs stuff is a natural reaction to a few bullshit calls and a bit of banter (going both ways mind you). Not worth getting triggered over.
