While Trell and the club probably can't fight the actual charge, he will miss some weeks, I think we certainly have a strong case to fight the grading and I urge the club to do so! I'd feel confident in fighting the grading when you look at worse incidents that have copped a lesser penalty.

Like I say, Trell is gone for a week or two for sure but if we can reduce the grading and get the suspension back to just a week or two then we should by all means do so!

Remember when Billy Slater kicked that guy in the head, Slater jumped in the air to take the ball and as he was coming down he kicked an opposition guy in the head. Everybody screamed 'on that's dreadful' but when it came before the (laughable) judiciary Slater said 'If he hadn't been trying to take my legs out from under me, thereby risking causing me life threatening injuries, i.e. fractured cervical spine etc. he wouldn't have got kicked in the head, I intend to continue to protect myself from clowns like him in future games'.
I think, from memory, Slater got off.

Now, Latrell wasn't in mortal danger, neither did he kick the the Tiger's guy, in anyway at all full stop, so I would be fighting that one. If the annoying little turd hadn't been clinging to Latrell's leg he wouldn't have been in any danger.

Didn't see the other two, unless it was when he sort off slapped some guy, at arms length, with his open hand. Fight that one too, if the clown hadn't been irking Latrell he wouldn't have got a slap.

Our back line is taking a bit of a hit no latrell no AJ at #2 and no sauce at #5 thats not good.

I can only hope that jaxson paulo can lift against his old club the titans...

That's why i said in another post that having four forwards would be the best ploy whilst tino is suspended for two weeks.

Our strengths this week is in our forwards not in the back line...especially with koloamatangi returning.

With tino out id be using 4 forwards off the bench at the expense of benji marshall for this game...we need our forwards to lay the platform this week it will be vital with our decimated current back line...

I hope latrell has success in being down graded 0-2 weeks would be a far better out come rather than 3 or 4 weeks out...personally latrell from here on has to think clearer in the heat of the moment especially if they bait him come finals time (don't fall for it latrell) be smarter than that cody & latrell will both have targets on their backs come finals time because all teams know what these two champions mean to our team ...

Losing Mansour for four to six weeks really hurts, especially if Latrell is out for the same amount of time. That'd be two huge losses heading into our toughest six week period of the year.

Gotta hope and pray that Latrell is successful tonight.

In saying that, such is the quality of our squad this year, I really back the guys that have to step into new roles to do a job and keep the team chugging along okay.

I am unfortunately going to miss keeping up with Latrell's Judiciary hearing live tonight. Starts at 11pm my time and who knows, may not finish til about 12:30am. Big day at work tomorrow so I'll be asleep in the next twenty minutes. It'll be a very restless sleep though as I'm starting to feel a bit nervous.

Hes a frustrating player to follow. He gets his mojo on and then he gets injured and then he’s hitting amazing form then he gets suspended.

Not as devastating as losing Renno

But a combination of bad luck and bad humour.

And when he does fire, he can be so dominant, uses up minimum 3 defenders so as to create space elsewhere. Then he can just power on and he’s explodes with pace. So many gifts.

I just don’t know how you get him out of the rut?!

I'll tell you why, it's because there is a clear bias against us and Latrell especially at the Judiciary. Don't f**king tell me I'm looking at it through Red and Green eyes when it's clear as daylight. Look at all the cases over the years where the NRL has whacked us hard yet other players get f**king nothing for similar things. It's BS. An absolute disgrace and I am f**king fuming!! Feel like punching a hole in a wall.

We are now without our best player for our toughest period of the competition and we could be in some trouble. Not only that, but Trell now has no chance of winning the Dally M.

This all just defies belief, it really does. I just can't understand how a Roosters player who's contact was far more dangerous and forceful than our Souths players gets off yet ours goes for four weeks. F**k me. I am fuming.

I don't believe we follow a corrupt sport but times like this make you wonder. The NRL will do anything they can to stop us winning the comp. F**k me!!

The judiciary has always been a complete joke when it comes to consistency in rulings.

Its not only Souths' people like me saying this, pretty much people from every single club say the same thing, over and over. Graeme Hughes and Peter Tunks were saying this yesterday on 2SM.

Bob Lindner needs to be sacked, he's been on that panel far too long, while all the claims of inconsistency rage on around him. You have legal eagle QCs for both the "prosecution" and "defense" and yet you have morons like Lindner and Creagh making the judgement and trying to understand the law? They probably can't even spell A,B,C. There needs to be a proper legal authority in judgment, not these morons.

Actually, mainly to stop the media (including the NRL's own site) sideshow that accompanies these hearings, and the potential this has to influence the judiciary, who are just ex-players. It is significant that the outcomes of all three hearings was correctly predicted on NRL360 before they started.
