I think it still does.
That's well and good but there is a reason why Souths have the worst point differential of the top 4 - they don't put teams away. Manly have 4 more losses than Souths and are only 25 points behind them.

Souths are a team with enough talent to be a contender but have the attitude of a team just happy to make the 4/8. I don't get the impression of a team that is hungry to succeed after 3 final 4 finishes in a row. I get the impression they're just happy to go that far.

I think it's more a case of Wayne timing the run. He knows better than anyone that you don't blow your load weeks before the Finals. Sure points differential can be important, but the fact remains a 2 point win is worth exactly the same as a 40 point win.

Like he timed his last 3 Brisbane finals to lose by a total of 136-18? 58-0 loss to Parra in the same finals series that Seibold took Souths to a prelim? Bennett hasn't won a premiership since his stacked StGI side 10+ years ago. He hasn't timed a run in over a decade.

Doesn't mean he doesn't know how. Ever heard the saying "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink"?

In regards to the Gagai situation, I'll be pretty upset if he goes. How can we possibly lose all three of him Reyno and Su'A?!
Im at a loss, i know weve overpaid players and bought some garbage on the way and our cap is screwed up,but we need to move at least 3 reserve graders and replace them, can someone explain it to me pls?

So his game plans are make games tougher than they need to be? This team doesn't have 80 minutes in them when they come against strong opposition.
No, there are other factors involved that determine how a game pans out. Besides we were discussing recent wins where we racked up big scores. Hardly making the game tougher than it needs be.

Lets go back to recent scores then. The same weekend that Souths put 38 on Wests, 4 other teams won by 38 or more. The weekend gone, only two winners scored less than Souths and both won by a bigger margin. This team is primed to go out in straight sets
