Everyone is entitled to an opinion , if some donā€™t agree with yours thatā€™s a good thing as it can expand your perspective no need to get all tough weā€™re all here for one reason
We love Souths and all the friendly banter that goes with it
Tolerance and kindness is key

Great stuff from Souths here!! Good appointment. So what does this mean for Jarrod Wade?

RABBITOHS PINCH ROOSTERSā€™ GURU

We have found one more chapter to the Sydney Roostersā€“South Sydney Rabbitohs book of feuds. It has been created quietly behind the scenes for several weeks.

The Roostersā€™ head of high performance Travis Touma recently told coach Trent Robinson he was leaving after a long association that included three premierships.

His job has been advertised for two weeks.

Touma also works for ā€˜Freddieā€™ Fittler with the NSW State of Origin team.

Although the Roosters have suffered more injuries than any other club, Touma is regarded as the best in his field.

This is why the Rabbitohs have pounced.

Touma will join the Roostersā€™ arch rivals in November to start pre-season training.

He already has a relationship with Damien Cook, Cody Walker, Cameron Murray, Latrell Mitchell and Campbell Graham from Origin.

His move to Souths is a coup and vote of confidence for incoming coach Jason Demetriou.

What about Jack Murchie as a cheap replacement for Sua?
He has shown some quality efforts but doesnā€™t seem to get many chances for the Warriors

yeah I wouldnā€™t say no, but we may be still priced out after his original deal is over.
What about Luke Thompson if Bulldogs are paying $450k of his salary

I think they'd only pay $450k for the first year and Souths would be stuck with the full $850k freight after that so it's no thanks from me.
.

No from you? Ahhh Righto, Iā€™ll let Blake & the board know
weā€™ll have to let his agent know, keep searching for a good deal elsewhere šŸ˜‰šŸ‘šŸ¼

Another cheap forward option would be one or both of storm forwards Max King and Darryn Shonig. Both young talented props (king can play all forward spots)looking for a bigger role than the storm allow them

NRLā€™s major hurdles over planned player jab rollout as Roosters aim to ban un-vaxxed fans: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...n/news-story/448fd29d9d51be9733faaa3557ff3517

Also, from Fox Sports,

He was dubbed the ā€œman of the momentā€ during his best performance in recent memory. And now Michael Ennis believes Anthony Milford can be considered a ā€œgreat buyā€ for the Rabbitohs.

For the last couple of years Milford has felt the burden of the $1 million price tag. His form has suffered, he was dropped to reserve grade and was told by the Broncos he wouldnā€™t be offered a new contract beyond this season.

The Rabbitohs swooped in and signed the 27-year-old on a cut-price deal. Whether that peace of mind contributed or not, Milford gave his new club a taste of whatā€™s to come when he led the Broncos to a thrilling two-point win over the Warriors with a try, three try assists, four tackle busts and three linebreak assists.

Ennis believes if the veteran playmaker can continue with that same brand of free-flowing footy he could end up being a ā€œgreat buyā€ for the Rabbitohs next season.

ā€œThereā€™s never been any question about his talent,ā€ Ennis told Big League Wrap.

ā€œWhatever was involved in his preparation this week, whatever his mind set was going to the game today, he needs to bottle that.

ā€œThereā€™s a great footballer in Anthony Milford. Itā€™s just about him bringing it consistently. Heā€™s been able to do that, he did that in 2015, but heā€™s struggled to reproduce that.

ā€œJust seeing the freedom and the smile that he played with today shows thereā€™s still that desire deep down to have success. South Sydney have seen that and theyā€™ve taken a chance.

ā€œHe looked like he played with a real weight off his shoulders. The moment he scored was brilliant. We havenā€™t seen that look on Milfordā€™s face for years, it was so good to see. ā€œListening to Ben Ikin throughout the year, before he went to the Brisbane Broncos, he said if Anthony Milford gets put with a really good half then thereā€™s still a footy player there, thereā€™s someone worth taking a chance on. Souths have done that and it may just turn out to be a great buy if he can produce what he did (on Sunday). He was brilliant.ā€

It was a dramatic turnaround for Milford, who just a fortnight ago was playing reserve grade. He was recalled in Round 22 to play a bench utility role, but Tyson Gambleā€™s suspension saw coach Kevin Walters promote Milford to his first start since Round 12.

It now seems Milford will hold that spot.

ā€œYeah, my word he does, particularly on tonight,ā€ Walters said when asked if Milford stays in the conversation for the final two games.

ā€œI thought that was the best he played in a long time. He brought his natural game, his defence was strong, he kicked well and he was looking quite threatening with the ball.

ā€œWeā€™ve got a great working relationship and I had no hesitation putting him back in the side. We know what he can bring.ā€

Milford was on from the get-go. He linked up with Xavier Coates, who ironically was also axed mid-season and is departing at the end of the year, for Brisbaneā€™s first two tries.

He set up Albert Kelly for a try in the second half and then scored the match-sealer.

ā€œThis is the Milford weā€™ve grown to know and love,ā€ champion halfback Cooper Cronk said as Milford played like the shackles had finally come off.

It didnā€™t take long for Broncos legend Corey Parker to notice a change in Milford too.

ā€œThereā€™s a weight off Antony Milfordā€™s shoulders, thatā€™s for sure. Heā€™s got a smile on his face, heā€™s bouncing around, heā€™s energetic, he wants the ball in hand,ā€ he said.

Meanwhile, Fox League commentator Warren Smith said what every Broncos fan was likely thinking.

ā€œBroncos fans must be scratching their heads saying ā€˜my goodness.ā€™ Itā€™s like the clock has been turned back to 2015,ā€ he said.

Well, even the man himself admitted after the game there was shades of vintage Milford.

ā€œYou could say the old me came out there in the second half,ā€ he said.

I think this Milford signing is going to be a lot like the Benji signing. There were some raised eyebrows when we signed Benji but it turned out to be a masterstroke. I truly think Milford is going to be a very astute buy for us.
