Bizza looks to be training with the team. It will be fascinating to see if he makes the team list this week.

Wouldn't suprise me if Edwards is given the week off.

That would mean Crighton back to fullback.

Leave Paul Mom either on wing or centre with Naden.

Naden will only be wing till brian is back. And we have 2nd/3rd locked up.

Cant see staines coming back. I think ivan will stick with critta on the wing and momo at centre.

If critta can bring the ball back on the wing like he did at fb last week, our back 3 will be very very dangerous.

Too, edwards and critta are all capable of busting teams open.

I know momo has his limitations at centre. But for the balance of the side it might be whats needed.

I cant see ivan throwing tiny in for the finals and brian has one wing locked up.

Only ways i see ivan going is

2. Nado
3. Critta

Or

2. Critta
3. Momo

Tend to think it will be the later as its safer defensivley. Staines confidence had looked down for a while. With no nsw cup to get it back, just cant see him being brought back up.
It would a crime to leave Momo out after last week.

Critter on the wing is the big issue, such good defender at centre. Also means Momo is centre and its very clear he's not very good

It's Tyrone May in the gf all over again. Crichton now has to play his 4th position for the year and develop a new combination with Momirovski as his centre with 2 games until finals.

We had the best 17 in the comp pre origin just needed Crichton at right centre is the only change.

I can handle dropping Staines. But not if its to shift Critter to the wing where Momirovski will never pass it to him.

If Momirovski stayed at centre we dont score Nathan or Crichtons try as he wouldn't have let the ball goto the winger.

Exactly. The person most hard done by is not Staines but Crichton.

Because he faced considerable adversity being matters not in his control.

The loss of his best player (can m) early, a number of injuries, a long delay for jdb, further injuries ben hunt etc, Vaughn and the unfair bbq penalties.

Virtually the same squad -wins more games than last year and will finish much better in 2021 than 2019.
So relatively speaking, I think he’s done pretty well.

I have a totally different view on Hook as a coach and on his performance this season.

They may have won 8 games, but 4 of those came in the first 5 rounds, and they have fallen of a cliff since then.

His style of coaching and lack of communication wears thin on players and assistant coaches, which has played out the same way at the Dragons this season.

The club should of done more research before signing him as head coach.

I can even handle if Momirovski is on the wing. He's not fast but at least he isn't starving the ball for anyone and actually had his best game for us as a result.

Critter needs to be right centre though. Dont care if its Naden, May, Momirovski or Staines on right wing. They all offer something outside the right centre. But if its Moms at right centre what they can offer is severely impacted

That's how I see it as well. Drop Staines if you must but Momirovski can't be right centre.

Depends on the reason or rationale behind the change. Maybe Ivan is putting Crichton on the wing because he wants him to work on his tough carrries out of his own end for a couple of games. Maybe he wants to give Momo more game time at centre as he will will be the back up centre to Crichton and Burton during the finals.

Or maybe he just feels Momo and Crichton are our best right side defensive combination and is giving them game time to work on it before the playoffs. Souths, Storm, Parramatta and Manly all score more tries on their LHS, so Ivan will know our RHS is critical for stopping that.

Thats what I would prefer to see, Crichton right centre, Momo on the right wing.

But there must be something Ivan wants to work on during the last couple of rounds, where getting ready for the finals is more critical than the win, given our round 1 play off position won’t change.

He said Crichton is the best at the club under the high ball and he likes his kick return metres.
