Forget about it fellas, so long as the TV
Is paying for the game crowds or game experience for the fans really isn’t that much of a priority for them. So long as it more or less looks somewhat OK on TV, NRL execs aren’t going to be fighting these battles for us.
At the end of the day TV revenue will still far exceed even an average NRL crowd of say 20K in a season, which would be awesome by the way. It’s just not a good return on their investment.
Crowds have really remained more or less the same for the last 10-15 years. The slight average increases or decreases you see in some years are just due to either the better crowd drawing teams winning and/or a more favourable schedule for the better crowd drawing sides.
