PR is correct. With good pricing for sideline seats we would get far bigger crowds. Even level 7 is $540 + fees for 2 adults and 2 children to sit on the sideline.

When prices were fair we averaged 40-43k, when prices were better, we averaged 33-35k.

Do you have the Stadium hire fees from back then?

Easy to blame the clubs but the hire fees are out of control

Have you seen ticket prices? Only the wealthy can support the Broncos!
Lord forbid you should want to take the whole family and not sit in the gods!
Agreed, however membership prices are pretty reasonable which is why individual game tickets are ridiculous, to try and push memberships.

It’s sad to see a game that prides itself on being the sport for the lower class and battlers pricing out those exact same people. I know it’s a business and they will always go for maximum profit but I still lament our game forgetting who it was that made the game what it is.
AFL week 1 finals pricing, this is standard for every game, every venue for first 2 weeks. Prelim Finals go up, but most expensive seat is still $193 for Cat 1 adult. GF tickets range from $132 - $435. Needless to say the game in Perth next week sold out in a couple of hours.

Nope. I’m not blaming the club, the government totally f**ks the broncos with their hire cost because there is no private alternative. Even if the broncos tried to negotiate a move to the Gabba to bring the fees down, the Gabba is still owned by the government.

I know that in 2014-15 the broncos needed to draw 25k just to break even.

I am sure Roosters fans have noticed the price increase for the 2023 season, Sadly it is an ongoing problem

must be better now as in ‘21 the crowd avg was 21.4k, venue hire was $400k a game and game day revenue was $1.06million a game.

And if you can sell 20k plus seats and fill your decent quality corporate boxes there’s a lot more profit to be made than playing in a 12k stadium with half the corporate facilities.

And if you don't make profit on 20k? Stadium hire varies and so does the profit

On a positive note, it is good the see 'Allocation Exhausted' for the Roosters v Rabbitohs at the new Allianz, yet the Wallabies and Matildas still have plenty of availability the following 2 nights.
Small victories.

Apparently the Wallabies are on track to sell it out

I'm not sure they will but they will definitely get 35k plus

That Matildas game is a Tuesday night and they won't be selling out any stadium in a friendly against Canada.

Then you probably should negotiate a better deal! Suncorp would be by far the most expensive rent in the land and Broncos made a hefty profit on a 21.4k crowd.

Ahh yes it is that easy...I am sure the Roosters, Souths and all the other clubs with heavy hitters haven't tried that

Ironic you name two clubs that are playing in big moderns stadiums! Only small clubs with little corporate support would think playing at sub 20k stadiums is a good idea and somehow more profitable.

Did you just totally ignore the bit where I showed that despite paying by far the highest rent in the land the Broncos made a hefty profit on 21.4k crowd avg plus strong corporate box sales in '21?

I named them because both are going to the new Stadium.

Roosters season tickets went up, Do you think they did that to cover costs or increase profit?

Roosters who draw around 16k...Well short of the Broncos figure you listed

Whats the increase? A lot more than previous years increases?
Its not like Roosters are paying $400k a game rent I would guess, or are you suggesting Roosters would be more profitable playing at a18k max suburban ground with a 1/4 the corporate seats available instead of at the new stadium??
