Years ago I had a mate who supported Arsenal and his (then) missus supported Man United. He mentioned how difficult it was when their teams played one another, but I suggested a certain "bet" and he loved the sound of it.

You mentioning your s/o's support for Canberra and the Blues made me think again of the fun bet you could place before Origin or Raiders v Broncos games
Lets just say he is regretting the bet that he floated after Munster was ruled out of game three!

When I'm asked what I wan't for dinner and I say "anything, I actually don't mind"

It means exactly that. Literally anything. I don't say no to 10 options presented to me after that. Also, if I say "I'm fine" I don't get harassed and accused of not being fine.

Form a line!!!
Wanna throuple up or nah

Have you not read the comments section? I would say 99% of the population would be ignoring them.
How are 99% of the community ignoring (refuse to take notice of or acknowledge) their beliefs, what an absolute load of horseshit. Everyone is discussing this issue, hardly ignoring them, is it?

Dismissing (treat as unworthy of serious consideration) their beliefs via the hypocrisy some are, no doubt. Drawing attention to their selective stance re: what passage of the bible they take a stand on & those they don't, yep 100%.

I wonder if it's the being inclusive without judgement part that many religious people struggle with, that concept is rather ironic isn't it?

There is a big difference. The fact this needed clarifying speaks volumes.

Sorry, it was obvious you wanted a fight so I gave you the opportunity for you to get it off your chest. Feel better ?
If you're genuine about wanting to understand why these players are refusing to wear the jersey you'll have to ask in a Christian forum. You won't find the answers on an NRL forum. Good luck :)

Interesting that people who wouldn’t be allowed to sit at the front of the bus 100 years ago due to “cultural reasons” now wish to justify their prejudices on “cultural reasons”

some “cultural reasons” are just objectively wrong. And should be called out as such.

Haha ok, if it suits your narrative let's just go along with it hey :D

Any chance you can post a link ? I'd love to improve my educatedation.

My grandmother came out from Europe in the 60s.

Dark completion, big nose (from a car accident), curly black hair.

Spoke only Dutch.

She was assumed to be aboriginal.

She only sat at the front of the bus once.

Your ignorance of our history is showing.

at any rate

I'm sorry for the troubles your grandmother faced. That never should have happened.

But your original argument was about pacific islanders being forced to the back of the bus. Is there any evidence this ever happened ? Or was is total horse sh#t to suit your argument? If you wish to vilify a community at least make sure your comments are accurate.
