Jacinta Ardern needs to reopen the borders so the Warriors can play from home. If she refuses to do then Morrison should put a ban on onionball being played in this country.

He could use the excuse that we've got enough vegetables sitting around like trees in this country. The last thing we need is the GPS system turning big fat rich kids into cauliflowers.

That reopening of the borders is coming - as of this week, Kiwis can come home without quarantine (not even needing home isolation) if they have a negative pre-departure test.. and it'll loosen more (especially for non Kiwis) as we get over the peak of Omicron this month.

Part of that is waiting for the peak of Omicron to pass - projected to be between 7 & 21 March- part of that is to neuter the arguments from the National Party & ACT (minor party that's basically libertarian/free-market to the max) opposition, who want covid restrictions gone yesterday.

It will be good to have travel between Australia and New Zealand recommence. RL needs a strong presence in NZ to keep the Australian Fumbleball League and Super Onionball in check.
