Was expecting a better contest. Meh, thats how it flies. Still a chance for finals.

Game’s best player and one of the best 5/8s in the comp out of the Penrith side, the Great Salmon and Sullivan (reserve graders) stepping in, Canberra playing at home iand starting the 2 greatest front rowers in rugby league history.

Canberra have rolled over. Not even a contest.

Piss poor from Ricky’s men. Canberra fans would have expected a win.

The blueprint to beat Penrith is to turn every single kick, no matter where it’s from, into a contest, and hope for the best.

Those expecting a win, hasn't seen our defence.

That was incredibly disappointing. When teams shut Wighton down, we’ve got nothing.

I actually think we’ll win all 4 of ours, and the Roosters will lose to the Cowboys and Souths. But it’s pointless really because we’ll suck in the finals and be bundled out week one.

I doubt raiders have 4 in a row in them. They start as favourites in all 4 games (although only slightly in the case of Manly IMO) but you just know they have a loss in them.

It wouldn't surprise me if they were the only win Newcastle get the rest of the way.

And with this result the top 8 is done IMO.

Due to F/A the raiders would have to win 2 more games than the roosters with 4 to play to finish ahead of them. Same with the dragons if they were to win tonight.
Likely but not a lock yet. Our Rd 25 match could decide who gets the home elimination final in a rematch the following week.

Full credit to the smug defence. Edwards really stood up despite being the unfashionable member of their spine.

Hopefully Tapine’s injury isn’t too serious. He deserves to take his form to the World Cup.

That would be disappointing. But also unsurprising.
