Big fan of SOS; sounds like a classy young man. Hope he does well the rest of this year and then best of luck at the Dolphins. I hope he gets a fair crack at the starting 7…

Game’s best player and one of the best 5/8s in the comp out of the Penrith side, the Great Salmon and Sullivan (reserve graders) stepping in, Canberra playing at home iand starting the 2 greatest front rowers in rugby league history.

Canberra have rolled over. Not even a contest.

Piss poor from Ricky’s men. Canberra fans would have expected a win.
And in the meantime, especially leading up to this game, there were hard-ons for Canberra in the media. I get that they don't rate us, but by now it is burgeoning on embarrassment.

Anyway, f**k them, and screw anyone who doesn't think we are worthy. One more win, and we have the MP.

Likely but not a lock yet. Our Rd 25 match could decide who gets the home elimination final in a rematch the following week.

Yep could be the case.

I think roosters, souths and eels all have a chance of causing absolute havoc from the bottom portion of the 8 come finals time. An elimination final between 2 of those 3 in week one would be unmissable. Broncos I think will fall to 8th and be an easy beat for whoever of those 3 finishes 5th.

I think the top 4 as it is now holds but I wouldn't want to be playing one of those 3 teams in week 2 coming off a loss.

Dp you think raiders will win all 4 games?

How many wins do you predict for the chooks?
Dude I expect us to nothing but shit the bed. But I'm not the one posting about it in unrelated game threads. If you were confident you wouldn't be in here trying to sell it.

Really great Panthers victory under the circumstances. We've shown why we are reigning premiers and the best defensive team. We weathered the physical punishment from the Raiders and have a couple more injury worries but our depth really came up trumps.

The result is directly related to what I originally said.

People can be unfairly critical when lower grade players are slotted into a team that is as good and as structured as ours. Trying to fit into a system must have been so intimidating for any player that had to fit in.
