Yep and isnt that proving a sensational decision?
Renno lead Brisbane home superbly on Friday lol…

Decisions will be evaluated at the end of the season, and in the longer term. Not after Reynolds managed to guide the Broncos to a win against the last-placed team.

Souths still have the class to be a top 4 team. There were quite a few brain farts from them last night again though. The biggest issue at the moment is their completion rate. Last night, it was 69% against Tigers 95%. It wasn't much chop vs Bulldogs and Dragons either. They've only been above 80% once this season vs Roosters. Mid-table teams will continue to trouble them if they don't sort this shit out, particularly if teams manage to continuously get to kicks or put attacking pressure on them like Tigers did last night. Souths are a f**king dangerous side IF they can put it together.

Hastings calmness, organisation and kicking has really made a difference in steering this team around the park.

Guys are saying Brooks is better at 6, but why is that? It's because Hastings really digs into the line on attacking plays, committing 2 or 3 players and prevents the slide, opening up the field for Brooks and the players outside him.

Hastings is a game manager, Brooks when trying to run the game either comes up with a poor choice at the clutch moment, or poorly executes a play. Brooks has some good attributes but has a shocking play in him.

I think Souths got their sums wrong, and to be fair, so do a lot of their fans.

@callmack1 and I worked out his dominance last year and not for the want of trying, we just couldn’t find a justification for not prioritising his signing.

And this was pre-finals etc.

They’ve got players on their books they will never use, Lats only plays half a season and Renno is giving the Broncs a massive boost in a 50/50 side.

Not that the Tigers have become experts overnight! But I guess we are highly regarded experts in roster fails, speak from experience and a long record of accomplishment in that field lol.

Based on games played per season, Lats is costing the bunnies about $1.7m a season.

I think Rennos extra to stay was about 12% of this, keeping him and leaving $1.5m to spend. That would get you a Munster easily or a couple of Burton’s with change.

It’s a pre-Hastings Brooks scenario, the price is too high although Brooks actually plays. Lats is a muscle car that won’t start.

The Rabbitoh officials (and JD) are stuck now having to justify this extraordinary expenditure and rubbish decision to the Souths faithful while the rest of the game has a muted chuckle.

Renno was winning the bunnies at least 8 games a season on points alone. Lats might jag 2 or 3 max.

The sums ….don’t add up. When the bunnies hard core rank and file raised this at the time, they were ignored. Much like we are.

Souths fans should be very upset with the incompetency of their footballing illiterate officials. Lions led by donkeys.

Broncos have won 2 matches with Reynolds in the team. One was v Bulldogs, and the other was v Bulldogs. Stop making out like he's the messiah up there. So far, he's brought his team back twice against the probable wooden spooners.

Yes, Souths are clunky but that's what happens when you go from a veteran to a rookie and you lose another major piece of the spine through injury. The decision was made for the long-term, not flippantly evaluated at Rd 7 2022.

Yes they f**ked up the last 5 mins, but Tigers had 3 goes at it too. Souths completion rate in most games has been bad. It was bad last night against a team who practically made no errors in this dept and they lost by a point. It's not the end of the world for Souths. Get on top of this and some Liam Knight brain farts and they're still a threat.

Mate the Tigers have 9 starters missing and lost a spine player mid match.
Souths are shit this year.

I stand by my assessment and that of your own mods and broader bunnies family.

If you honestly think Renno is not marquee, be it on your head.

You gotta remind Arrow that he’s not in the Hastings or Brooks mould and there was zero proper set up by Souths at crunch time. They all ran away from our blockers.

Renno pots these over in his sleep.

The true cost of one Latrell is Renno plus Munster plus two Edwardses.

Cook and Cody were the two best Tigers out there. Mansour showed them up ffs. Certainly looks more ready for Origin on last nights effort.

Only the most optimistic Souths fans thinks your kids are remotely ready. Which idiot at your club thought that they were ready?

Souths could easily have had a real shot at another upper finals berth, but your officials have mangled that ambition.

Don’t whinge at us for winning, the 100% completion rate or that the closest thing we have to Marquee is bloody Joffa.
