After tonights game, I will say this: I TOLD YOU SO.

I knew that O'Sullivan was a good and asute back up for Cleary.

Tago can play centre well

Kiks will not phone it in this year.

Yeo was amazing.

Api was on fire and this will continue.

For all those who were doing the 'woe is' and 'sack cloth n ashes'

YOU'RE FULL OF IT.

It is one game. Doing it week in week out is the challenge

Its just the nature of the beast unless your storm or roosters.

You win a comp. All your players value increases shitloads and within 24 months the salary cap pressure is huge amd players are gone. Some times losing even just one player can be damaging to the dynamics of the side..

Capewell is going to be a much bigger loss than has been talked about on here.

Capewell and Api next year are huge losses

Best two on field for me where Yeo and Edwards.

Result suprised. Penrith should of hit 40 and unfairly had 2 tries taken away. I could cop the first one but To'o was a try. I thought would be close game.

JFH,Kikau,Sullivan all went well along with Api. So did Tago.

I thought Staines also did fine. Carted the ball up and defended well.

I thought attack was still a little clunky and seemed to take the foot of the pedal. It felt more like they could of put the foot down but stayed conservative. Left plenty of points on the field but that's fine.

Only downside I could see was a few poor passes I felt from Crtichton. He had a solid game but did throw a few poor ones that just where not on.

MOM YEO just over Dylan.
O Sullivan came from reserve benchy gibbering idiot to this.

Played his ass off. Personal best.

Made nate nervous.

Mom.

😂😂 All the muppets saying we can't win without Cleary

Yeo is the one
We've been winning without Cleary for years. We can't win without Cleary, Yeo, Luai, Edwards and Koroisau though.

Yeo MoM tonight, Edwards, Koroisau, Crichton, JFH and Luai all good. Sorensen and Leniu both strong off the bench. O'Sullivan did his job well.

I like the switch I think Salmon is decent. With the previous bench we’d be up shit creek with an injury anywhere in the backline and I think Salmon did well in the forwards in the trials. He had like 50 pct metres against Parra when we got flogged so I think he can handle some minutes on the edge.

Should of just named that 17 instead of playing games

The weekend is always better after a win. Wasn't really unhappy with anyone they've all had a good pre season. Yeo clearly future immortal.

Staines 170m+

Too strong. Too fit. Too skillful. Ordinarily a try like that on halftime would freak me out but they weren't anywhere near us out there. Great to watch.

Running out of superlatives for Yeo and there's a whole season left.

Nice game from O'Sullivan, albeit probably the main culprit for their only points. Great bit of work for Martin's try.

God it's good to have the footy back.
