Great performance.

Most impressive part is that its round 1. This team looks like they never had an off-season.

Happy with just about everyone. Crichton ended up rocks and diamonds but wasn't far off his best ever performance. Could have easily had a hat trick and a couple assists. Crichton, Martin and Cleary look like a very nice right edge for the Blues.

You're full of it. That's not what you said.

For someone older you clearly don't know footy

They had 5 months to prepare for this game. They now have 9 days and are fully fit as the wear and tear goes on.

Players come in and out of the side is when intensity drops

I remember early 2015 a betting agency opened up a will Souths lose a game bet after a strong start. How did that turn out for them?

Or Cows in 2016

It was a good win and you should enjoy it but lets not get ahead of ourselves

Our best performance without Nathan since he debuted by miles

I really like the way SOS plays, playing with our full strength pack he will look 10x the player he did the last couple seasons. He runs the ball, kicks pretty well and most importantly he digs deep into the line on those set passing plays which drags in defenders and creates space outside him.

Not a bad player out there tonight but for me motm could’ve been Yeo, Dylan or Api I can’t really split them. Critta was great especially the first half. Favourite play of the game was Tago cutting Tommy turbo in half and forcing the error.

Can you back track any faster ?

I'm not getting ahead on anything. Or any one.

I said the game would be tough. Which is was. I said Penrith were very capable of winning if all put in, which they did.

Go on don your 'sack cloth n ashes' and begin singing Woe Is. Because that all you're good for.

I tought Tago and Staines did really well too.

Loved how he took some 'dirty carries' too.

It really is a different game for a half when you have a pack rolling forward and a 13 who passes like a 6.

A lot to like from that performance. Yeo is a freak. His work tonight was outstanding. A lot to like from Edwards tonight too, he did all the great things he usually does, but his work in the Critta no try got my jocks to go a size smaller.

Tago on Turbo just about got me over the line.

Our forwards were amazing , they gave O’Sullivan the time and space he needed to get in the game.
Big shout out to Tago, I loved that tackle of Turbo, almost cut him in half.
Crichton really got involved and kikau ran straight and hard, both were fantastic.
Couldn’t ask for a better start, we reminded everyone we are the champs and also that we are a team of champions.
