Cleary was never going to be right for round 1. Smart choice

We will still start 3-0

I dont see it sadly. Although I'd be happy to be proven wrong. He is great as a foil for Nath, but on his own not so much.

Yeo playing makes the halves look better. O'Sullivan will look good and will flow through the side

Manly have gone from $2.50 to even $1.90 just on Cleary being out.The rain and wet will suit manly more than us they are a big side .lets hope O’Sullivan gets in there and plays attacking footy

And this doesn't mean pop gun long kicks down the field. Get the ball and run

The issue is and has always been cleary doesnt want luai to do his own thing. He wants him to play to the same stucture even when nathan isnt there.

It happened last year and i just cant see it changing.

Burton and luai both at times last year tried to play like nath because ivan didnt want to mess with the structure.

Without nathan, luai needs to be told to play how he wants to..

I think instictivley he always wants to run. But hes coached to an extent to play within our stuctures.

When nath is there it doesnt matter anywhere as much and he can focus on running and roaming around more.

When hes not i think he feels the extra responsibility oc assisting the team play within the structure ivan wants. But instead we have to play to our strengths without nathan.

That means that Api MUST run the ball more and be more creative out of dummy. And luai needs to be allowed to run it as much as he wants.

I think without nath we have to change our gameplan to suit the strong players we have. Not try and play the same way as when hes there.

Our pack, To'o and Edwards have them covered for meters. The game will be won or lost elsewhere. Last year Nathan and Critter totally shut down Turbo

Punters are dumb.

Manly's pack is inferior to ours. Their backrow is out. Karl Lawton and Bullemor starting backrow.

Edwards and To'o get our sets off well

Kicking game they have the advantage but almost every other area the wet suits us more

That is it. Leota alone matched Parra. Fish was in beast mode in All Stars and Yeo speaks for himself.

Their speed we can't match so kick chase needs to be on

That is still the issue with Ivan. No plan B

Take Last year. Burton is the closest to like for like. Yet May and Luai were the 7's

Hopefully he has learn't

ALARM ALARM VERIFIED RUMOUR

Nate out for 3 weeks. Source: work colleague, ex Panther junior. It’s doing the rounds in the lower mountains.

But as predicted by me.

All care, no responsibility -this is not me making it up.

Lets see how my sources fare.

I may have become “ the smug whisperer”, let’s hope so.

if it’s not true, Socky might ban me for a few weeks and I’d have to wear it.

It’s on the nrl.I’ve just seen it…I’m only an hour and a bit late.

But I was butchered here all pre season for saying he wouldn’t be right.

I won’t embarrass the doubters. It’s a pretty good test for the side. It’s on the nrl.I’ve just seen it…I’m only an hour and a bit late.

He was never going to be right. The club played along as Ivan loves mind games.

It is a 6 month time frame from the op in mid Oct.

I doubt anyone actually thought he would play outside of gulible media
