O'Sullivan (I believe) is a handy pick up, and quite capable of stearing the team around the park sucessfully. As long as all other players do their job, and do it well.


The large team list (I understand) is due to Covid. There is no real restriction about bringing another player in, if there is outbreak around the club. This was announced in January.

Really happy turuva is the #1 in cup. The fact jenkins is wing is probably an indication of where they see him playing.

Im happy for staines to get first shot but really wouldve loved to see may and tago on the right together.

Overall, you take nathan, burton, capewell out of that team from last year and we are significantly weaker imo.

Just looking out our 1-17 without nathan and id say he improves that team by 30 to 40% by himself. I get why they arent risking him, and happy they are playing it safe. Just saying we certainly arent as strong across the board this year.

A few injuries and we will be in real strife.

Hoping we have enough strike without nath to get it done but i think manly are going to be very tough. Especially given that alot of our blokes have had a limited pre season and no trial games. Going to be a tough night and close game i think.

Last year I had us a clear top roster

Had many an argument even with Cleary out we'd still win. What did we drop 1 game when he was injured?

This year we are a clear top 4 but lack depth to beat top sides should injuries hit

He is in the Ricky Stuart and Paul Green mould.

A stacked roster got his results. Guys like Bennett etc get results with inferior rosters

Penrith are though very capable of stepping up and covering the loss of Cleary. IF all players do their job, and work as a team.

Warrington played Leeds in round 1, winning 22-20. They are now 3 and 1 in 4th after losing at the weekend, ahead of Catalans on for and against. Catalans have not played Wigan as yet, that is next game. Not sure if regular fullback Arthur Morgue will be back for that. Also not sure what the go is with Dean Whare who has been very quiet thus far and didn't play this week.
