2022 Rnd 1 Panthers V Manly 10th March 2022 Penrith Park

I haven’t seen the Panthers as favourites in any wretched market -has anyone else?

Having said that, the difference in the odds by some big companies is not as great as I expected $1.95 (riff) to $1.85 ( raw meat) which as usual is a genuinely miserable return for the risk.

Head to head, much better value in other games.

Although if we are all honest, the safest bet is to steer clear of gambling in all of its forms.

The figures for the adverse effects, pain and suffering incurred through gambling can be found here:

The stats are mind-blowing.

After a cool night, light cloud cover with sunny periods over the CUA. A bit of a breeze.

Sun's out and will be two days without rain. Footy fields aren't like your backyard. The drainage under then is excellent. I've seen plenty of games where it stops raining 1 hour before and it dries up. I think everyone will be suprised how good the field will be with some sun and wind today.
Manly are now favourites. Will be a great test to see the side without Nathan.
I know nothing about Sullivan but how many sides have an NRL quality half in reserves? Burton was a rare case. Parra have BAs son who looks like a work in progress at this point. Roosters have Hutchinson. Most other sides have junk.

The interesting one could be Flannagan. Might be worth a knock on door and a cheap contract. I still feel he could be a reliable halfback or atleast back up.

All you need to know about O Sullivan is that at his best, he’s incompetent and players to his side will be kept busy and distracted because he can’t tackle to save himself. Nothing personal, all players have my respect.

For him, it’s a question of saving life and limb against a severe and unrelenting pounding by unthinking lumps of labotomised raw meat seeking him out to punish him for the crime of his meek footballing existence.

That means panic kicks to Turbo who will be looking to slice through the unwitting kids in the backs, like a hot knife into butter.

Poor Dylan will be run off his feet. In a way it’s much better for smug to have a specialised defending fullback in a match like this. He will handle himself ok or die trying.

This game is going to put ten years on his life.

The other option for smug might be “plan b” which is basically to institute a stop start spoiling game. Mess them around as much as possible, bring on penalties and the hate, break their resolve. Play the chaos.

With great coaching, he will be fine.

If Luai isn't the best Panther on the field he needs to take a good hard look at himself
I hope Luai plays his own game, not someone elses. I think he got MOM against the Dragons a few years ago under Hook when Nathan was out. He can be better.

Penrith have won 17 straight games at home and manly have lost 5 of there last 6 at Penrith. With or without Nathan manly are going down tonight,Tommy won't do squat as he will be up against the best defensive team in the comp.I think a lot of people are forgetting that we are the premiers and it wasn't just Nathan out against parra we had 6 of our best out.

There is a reason betting agencies are taking double the money for us.

Like Ivan said on the radio today. O'Sullivan hasn't played with Yeo
