I also prefer Wighton or Burton even over Hynes. Unsure what Hynes brings. He is a great player. A good guy to start but unsure about the bench.
Yep, looked good at the Storm but almost everyone does and he was mostly a fill in. Then good start to the year at Cronulla but that's at half.

So players used last year that didn't get the call for this year were:

Josh Addo-Carr
Angus Crichton
Dale Finucane
Campbell Graham
Latrell Mitchell
Mitchell Moses
Daniel Saifiti
Jake Trbojevic
Tom Trbojevic

...and Keaon Koloamatangi, Stefano Utoikamanu and Clinton Gutherson, who I think were initially named in an extended squad?

Wighton was awesome today. Maybe best on field behind Dylan.
I rate him highly. He is also built for origin.

Hynes I just do not see his role. Uness an injury.
I'd have him far ahead of Hynes. He's got critics but mostly because he comes across as a knob. Hynes is just the flavour of the month.

The Suaalii pick is cooked and while I suppose it’s some wankery about future players experiencing camp I can’t help but feel this has more to do with Politis driven puppetry. 4 solid games for Easts and your a blue? piss off Freddy!

Freddy Loyalty shown to dim sims and Frizzel but not to Jurbo or JAC bizarre.

Frizell wasn't there last year and while he has been a great origin player hasn't made that much of an impact at Newcastle.

JAC axed just reinforces the Dogs are now a place where they not only they kill coaching careers but also rep players.

Reed probably has to hope harry grant gets injured this year for origin 2 or 3. He may slip further down the pecking order playing for a bottom 4 team.

Its funny my dragons supporter mate reckons Lomax is so over rated its not funny.

He can't stand him reckon he is a show pony who is good for 2 dumb mistakes a game.

He would happily piss him off.

I rate him highly. If he was in a stronger sides he'd carve up.
Critchton is solid and big and strong. I reckon that's about all. Not much better then Waqa

I reckon jac was dropped for height.

To'o is a must but short. Suualli and toups are tall buggers

Probably worried about the aerial attack for cobbo and coates

Yep 100% worried about the height.

But do you reckon if Addo carr is still in Melbourne he gets dropped.

It's not like Addo-Carr has ever been caught out before for a lack of height.
