He has shown he is an elite center but the way the game has evolved I think centres will be more a dim a dozen position. I wouldn’t be having one in my top 5 paid players at the club.

He'll be hunting a career contract for 2022 after that origin series (even though he was made to look good by Gutherson's junk frontline defence). Can't see Penrith keeping him with all the youth they're gonna have to upgrade. I'd like to see him back but we have a lot of backrowers and will need a few middles to replace (or support) Woods, Tolman and Fifita depending on what happens with them..

Stick with Wilton imo. He’s going to be a better player and can already cover centre and can cover the middle.

Am I the only one not sold on Staggs? Sure he has some flashy moments - is a bit of a freak with ball in hand, but his defence is absolutely abysmal.

Defence will come with experience and teaching. He’s a freak in attack and fast as f**k.

Still I’m not sure we should go back out and pay heaps for a centre. Prioritise other positions perhaps.

I have a bit of a blind spot in watching games for missed tackles and poor positioning ,that players of a higher level would not have. However I have seen Kotoni staggs make some incredible try saving tackles and massive hits ,when the boncos were struggling. None of the young players get the positioning and reading game stuff right for a while.The Skill and potential is absolutely there. Attitude is everything , his on game attitude seems great , dont know about the off field stuff. Well worth the risk if affordable IMHO.

Stages was an absolute standout in a diabolical Donkeys side. The fact we could exchange him for Duges and get some change blows my mind. No offence to Duges either....he busts his balls every week.

Is it doing me old school head in. I am having massive concerns about the RL and bloody players and coaches already concerned about what is going to happen in 2022.

Fharkkkk they have only just started training for the 2021 bloody season.

Imagine being that bloke that rumour has you are going to be shopped around by the club so at the end of the 2021 season "the club" might be chasing so and so.

Yeah you'd really bust your guts for 'the team and the club' so they can just shit on you come September.

Parasite player managers must be loving this phase of the modern game.

It will be big signing, as long as we keep SJ as well would be great halves combo
I would assume then club would be pushing to offload Chad.
Hooker is covered with BB the future captain.
Fullback unless someone inside the club has a breakout year we have to go in search.
These 2 players come too mind.
Milford I know hasn't played best at Broncos but if he was decent price could be the answer I also remember last time we bought a fullback from Broncs it worked out well.
Other option Drinkwater who would if a halve went down can switch there, he started looking a lot better back half of 2020
