Glad to tickle you Phil as never know me arse to me elbow with NRL crowds first games as thought Eels would of got a lot more and looking back in 1988 the Broncos crowd for first game was shocking but glad to be proven wrong on the NRL which we both love my dear dear friend X

There's a number of factors that contribute to their attendance compared to league.
No reason why the gap can't be closed substantially over the coming decades.

A number of slow-burn trends favour NRL over AFL. Changing multicultural demographics. SL war becomes an ever more distant memory. Also the current leadership's focus on Touch/Tag should give far more participants a personal link with RL than the Tackle game ever could.

Over 100000 for the first 6 games and we can expect over 43000 today. An average of over 18000 isn’t too bad to start the year. Next week particularly with a broncos win this weekend followed by a home match and derby should get about the same.

I know it's early days but Super Leagues past 2 rounds have been good for crowds and seems to be a good vive about it BUT we need to have very good crowds to back that claim up for the Challenge Cup final and Super League Grand Final.

We’ve been vulnerable since our inception. It’s what makes us so attractive.

I think it has still set you up to financially secure long term, I mean the Leagues club was renovated for free and a nice few million bonus

It looks like the leagues club side of the ground can't be expanded due to the development.

What will the capacity of Shark Park be after the redevelopment next door has finished?

It looks like a lot of the fenced off space has been claimed by the new development, so the capacity is going to be less than the 20,497+ they were able to hold back in 2017.
