It looks like the leagues club side of the ground can't be expanded due to the development.
It is has been expanded out, Still backs on to the ground

What will the capacity of Shark Park be after the redevelopment next door has finished?
It looks like a lot of the fenced off space has been claimed by the new development, so the capacity is going to be less than the 20,497+ they were able to hold back in 2017.
Sadly yesSupposed to be a leagues club extension and a small extension to the grand stand on that side
it’s just such an ugly ground
It's 12k while being fixed 17k when done17k as of July, Not sure if that is the new capacity or just while it is being fixed
The Ettingshausen stand needs to be expanded along the pitch, at least at concourse level anyway17K is a pretty dire capacity for a modern NRL ground TBH.
Not sure tbhDoes Cronulla own the hotel and bar ? Or the developer
Probable flogging deniedNah, like yak said it’s too small.
Agree. If they nabbed munster or ponga the vibe would have been better for them and maybe more neutrals would have been keen to see a competitive opening rather than a probable roosters flogging (YUCK). I know the Beeston connection is nice, but opening against the titans at Suncorp would have been my suggestion.
Staggered release to constrict attendees to sections of the stadium. This is requested by tenants to keep hire fees down.
