Supply & demand
it'll sellout at those prices

the NRL , like most sporting organisations , isn't a welfare agency

Does Elton John sell tickets for $50 for pensioners and kids? This is a premium event. It’s not a charity.
Yeah but a concert goes for up to 3 hours max, RL goes for 80 minutes.

Pensioner's get alot of discounts, for basically anything these days. Obviously not for Origin though.

nothing to do with the 80 minutes /3 hours

again
supply & demand
if people didn't think the price suited the event they wouldn't pay it

they obviously do so..... ya know

That is a discounted price , a lot less then non pensioners or adults would be paying
My old man is a soccer fan and a pensioner, do you think he can afford $200, especially when they earn peanuts every fortnight. He watches RL on TV coz he reckons it's to expensive to go to games, he even said let's go watch Origin. But after I told him the price, he said no way. I rather watch at home.

Really? I’ve been to a night at Origin and it’s three hours mate from start to finish. I’d give this one up mate if I were you. There are plenty of cheaper tickets available for people who don’t want silver or gold seating. I know this because I have bought them.

Apparently not or he’s just making stuff up. I think engaging with him on this point is only giving him more opportunities to double down on a pointless discussion.

Only the rich can afford these stupendous prices, the poor can't like me and many people I know..
The people going to origin in Adelaide are those with disposal income: those who have travelled from nsw or qld for the game, those in Adelaide/SA who are from NSW or QLD, Adelaide/SA locals who want to see a big event.

It's the reality of life, blue riband events cost money to go to. Either save up your pennies or watch it on tv.

I am going to Adelaide because i haven't been before and outside of maybe going one year for a test match its the only other excuse to go there for me.

Going there from Wednesday to Sunday so doing 5 days and a wine tour in the Barossa on the friday.

Maybe a trip to Glenelg on Thursday for a recovery session from the origin night before and a pub crawl around Adelaide on the Saturday Arvo.
