Nql 75% capacity
Ncl 80% capacity
Par 70% capacity
Tiges 50% capacity
Sharks 100% capacity

so what is your point?
The NRL has been going about things all wrong, we should just build stadiums with a capacity of 10 then we'll dominate the sporting world with 100% capacity crowds.

Looking forward to my annual game at aami park Saturday night. Always a great night out at Storm. Great stadium, big crowd hopefully and good bar crawl to and from ground.

FYI
Mt Smart Stadium (Go Media Stadium) is getting temporary stands for the All Blacks Test match in July, increasing capacity by 6,000 to a total of 31,000.

An article in the NZ Herald states the Warriors aren’t happy, at the temporary grandstands on the Northern Hill side will take out their match day activation spaces.

Reading between the lines, I don’t think they’ll be that upset with (likely?) selling out the stadium with a crowd of 31k against the Sharks and Raiders in July.

Tickets for their match against South Sydney next week also have seats on the Northern Hill - but not sure if that means the temporary grandstand is already there. Selling those tickets for $10 is quite clever from the Warriors.

I had always thought the genera capacity was 30,000 but it must be 25,000 - then moving towards 30k if tickets are placed on sale in the Northern end?

The rest of NZ is union heartland but Auckland is almost 50/50 these days. Blues finals games can't outdraw the Warriors

and why are NZR playing at Mt Smart instead of Eden Park...is it the FIFA WWC?

Yup, World Cup taking precedence for a month (9 matches at Eden Park).

I've never been to Mt Smart with the extended setup, might be worth getting up to Auckland for one of those games for the extra noise!

Tomorrow night will probably be 52,000. The licensed capacity of Suncorp is 52,500 including standing room - it used to have 52,500 seats but they yanked out about 300 for the screen upgrades. Standing room tickets have not been sold since 2017 game three which is the current venue record crowd of 52,540.

KFC have a big bucket in the south eastern corner so it looks like they've pulled out another few hundred seats for that ghastly display.

First world problems and not really an issue, but I still hate it.
